Your responsibilities will include: Leading initiatives to conduct thorough cybersecurity risk assessments. Applying the Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) to structure and improve our risk management processes. Collaborating with various stakeholders to identify and assess potential information security risks. Developing and implementing strategic plans to effectively mitigate identified risks. Ensuring the continuous improvement of our cybersecurity posture through proactive risk management and oversight. Conducting comprehensive Information Security risk reviews and interviews with seller/servicers as part of the annual Consolidated Origination and Risk Evaluation (CORE) review. Analyzing findings from these reviews and developing a detailed risk assessment, backed by supporting evidence. Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in risk management, internal controls, audit, or compliance, preferably within financial services or mortgage operations 8 to 10 years of experience in cybersecurity or cyber risk management, with a focus on highly regulated industries. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred. Proficiency in performing risk analyses, vulnerability assessments, and threat modeling. Proven track record of leading risk assessment and controls initiatives across business functions Proven experience engaging with senior leadership to understand and align with strategic goals. Experience in IT governance, risk, and controls, including familiarity with frameworks such as COBIT, FFIEC, ISO 2700x, and NIST. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills for articulating technical risks to non-technical audiences. In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, networks, and operating systems, with experience in relevant frameworks like NIST and ISO 27001. Responsibilities Conduct pro-active, high visibility preventive patrols of Lipscomb University main campus and any/all off site facilities. (This includes all buildings and grounds associated with Lipscomb Academy.) Respond to dispatched calls for service/assistance via Lipscomb University Security dispatch center. (Calls for service to include but not limited to medical calls, building locks/unlocks, vehicle assistance, maintenance department assistance, traffic control, safety concerns, on campus vehicle crashes, suspicious activity etc...) Respond to requests via dispatch for safety escorts of students, faculty, staff, or visitors from buildings to vehicles or vice versa. Conduct scheduled locks/unlocks of buildings and/or rooms across the university campus. Observe and investigate any unusual or suspicious circumstance. Remain attentive for, report, document and follow up on potential security concerns and hazards such as lighting, access control, alarm systems, fire safety and other concerns that may affect the safety or effective operation of the University. Enforce parking regulations on campus through ticketing, immobilizing, and/or towing as appropriate. Work with Parking Coordinator to conduct closures of parking spaces/lots for scheduled events or any needs of the university/academy. Participate in community relations activities as directed by shift supervisor or Director of Operations. Develop and maintain healthy relationships with university faculty, staff, students, & families. Have daily interaction with university faculty, staff and students that actively promotes asafe and welcoming environment that is conducive to learning and growing. Work with Shift Supervisor and/or the Director of Operations to develop, enhance, and operationalize emergency action plans (ie. fire, inclement weather, active shooter, etc.). Demonstrate a high level of awareness, good judgment, and critical thinking skills in all aspects of the position. Utilize experience and skills to respond appropriately when threats to property or individuals occur. Regularly self-audit and evaluate procedures, systems, and facilities, and actively engage in developing and enhancing these areas in coordination with the Director of Operations. Assist Academy School Security Officers with any needs related to Academy security operations (To include but not limited to, traffic control during morning drop off & afternoon pick-up, enhance security presence during special events, fill in for SSO when sick or PTO, etc..) Assist with any/all special events on university campus as directed by Director of Operations and/or Director of Support Services. Actively work with Director of Operations to develop and enhance patrol procedures, protocols, and training. Work independently and is self-sufficient. Work with others in a cooperative, collaborative manner. Utilize report writing program to document incidents on campus as needed. Detain/arrest subjects as needed within guidelines prescribed by the State of Tennessee Armed Guard Licensing. Assist First Responders (Police, Fire, EMS) as requested when they are dispatched to university campus. Always conduct yourself in a professional manner and exemplify a Christ-like servant attitude towards others in the Lipscomb Community. Any other tasks as directed by shift supervisor, Director of Operations, Support Service, and/or Communications, and the Executive Director. Additional Expectations Attend regular staff meetings as needed. Develop and maintain relationships with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, as appropriate. Maintain current certifications and licenses, in coordination with the Director of Operations. Engage in additional duties as necessary. Actively participate in department training (including but not limited to firearms training, less lethal weapons, de-escalation, active shooter, vehicle operations, officer safety, etc...) Actively participate in accreditation processes, as tasked by Director of Operations and/or Executive Director. Maintain all issued equipment to be always operational. (To include but not limited to firearms, uniforms, less lethal weapons, gun belt, vehicles, etc....) Strong verbal and written communication skills. Requirements 3+ years of experience in security, law enforcement, military, corrections, or combination Have Active Tennessee Armed Guard License. (Preferred but not required) Understanding of basic communications software and technology (preferred but not required). Understanding of basic patrol and dispatch procedures (preferred but not required). Shift differential pay applies for 3rd Have a valid Tennessee driver's license. Position Overview:

Freddie Mac is seeking an experienced Manager to join our Third Party Risk Governance (TPRG) Information Security (Cyber) team. Your role will be vital in identifying potential risks and ensuring that effective mitigation strategies are in place. Our Impact:

The Seller/Servicer Information Security Oversight Team, within Third-Party Risk Management, is responsible for monitoring the information security standards of seller/servicers to ensure the safeguarding of Freddie Mac's data in alignment with the Freddie Mac Guide. Our team of cyber risk specialists is actively involved in monitoring, identifying, detecting, and responding to cyber threats. Through regular vulnerability scans, they work diligently to mitigate information security risks to Freddie Mac.

Your Impact:

  • As a Manager, you will play a key role in enhancing our oversight of third-party risk management. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading initiatives to conduct thorough cybersecurity risk assessments.
  • Applying the Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) to structure and improve our risk management processes.
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders to identify and assess potential information security risks.
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans to effectively mitigate identified risks.
  • Ensuring the continuous improvement of our cybersecurity posture through proactive risk management and oversight.
  • Conducting comprehensive Information Security risk reviews and interviews with seller/servicers as part of the annual Consolidated Origination and Risk Evaluation (CORE) review.
  • Analyzing findings from these reviews and developing a detailed risk assessment, backed by supporting evidence.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in risk management, internal controls, audit, or compliance, preferably within financial services or mortgage operations
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in cybersecurity or cyber risk management, with a focus on highly regulated industries.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • Proficiency in performing risk analyses, vulnerability assessments, and threat modeling.
  • Proven track record of leading risk assessment and controls initiatives across business functions
  • Proven experience engaging with senior leadership to understand and align with strategic goals.
  • Experience in IT governance, risk, and controls, including familiarity with frameworks such as COBIT, FFIEC, ISO 2700x, and NIST.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for articulating technical risks to non-technical audiences.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, networks, and operating systems, with experience in relevant frameworks like NIST and ISO 27001.
  • Industry certifications such as Sec+, SSCP, GSEC or C|EH, preferred

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments, analyze potential threats, and evaluate third-party information security processes and procedures.
  • Identify associated risks and provide a comprehensive risk assessment with supporting evidence.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $142,000 - $214,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
