Regional Security Manager Regional Functions | New York City Reports to: Director, Physical Security, North America Role Overview The Regional Security Manager is responsible for the overall security and safety for the Northeast region of North America. This position is based in a corporate office and requires a strong understanding of retail security best practices, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work independently. The Regional Security Manager may oversee Area Security Managers, Security Managers, and/or Supervisors [if applicable] and will work closely with store management and other corporate departments to ensure a safe and secure environment for employees and customers. Responsibilities Implement security policies and procedures for the assigned region, ensuring compliance with company standards and legal requirements. Manage and oversee the performance of team, providing guidance, training, and support. Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments of retail locations to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions. Investigate security incidents, including theft, fraud, and workplace violence, and prepare detailed reports. Collaborate with contract guard vendors, law enforcement agencies and other external partners on security matters. Manage the security budget for the assigned region, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Oversee the installation and maintenance of security systems, including CCTV, alarm systems, and access control. Provide security training to store employees on topics such as loss prevention, emergency procedures, and active shooter response. Monitor security trends and emerging threats, and recommend proactive measures to mitigate risks. Serve as a point of contact for security-related issues within the assigned region. Maintain a strong working knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to security and safety. Travel to retail locations within the assigned region as needed (30%- 50%) Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in multi-store/location security management, preferably in a retail environment. Strong knowledge of retail security best practices, loss prevention techniques, and security systems. Working knowledge of security equipment and software packages including CCTV, Burglar alarms, POS exception reporting, etc. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated proficiency in conducting investigations and integrity interviews. Key Responsibilities: Information Technology Leadership: Lead a team of IT professionals to ensure the delivery, support, and lifecycle management of the IT infrastructure. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with senior management, business units, and external partners to understand business requirements and align IT strategies with organizational goals. Financial Leadership: Oversee and guide application portfolio and project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring delivery within scope and on schedule. Role Overview

The Regional Security Manager is responsible for the overall security and safety for the Northeast region of North America. This position is based in a corporate office and requires a strong understanding of retail security best practices, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work independently. The Regional Security Manager may oversee Area Security Managers, Security Managers, and/or Supervisors [if applicable] and will work closely with store management and other corporate departments to ensure a safe and secure environment for employees and customers. The position will report to the Director, Physical Security, North America.

Responsibilities

  • Implement security policies and procedures for the assigned region, ensuring compliance with company standards and legal requirements.
  • Manage and oversee the performance of team, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments of retail locations to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
  • Investigate security incidents, including theft, fraud, and workplace violence, and prepare detailed reports.
  • Collaborate with contract guard vendors, law enforcement agencies and other external partners on security matters.
  • Manage the security budget for the assigned region, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Oversee the installation and maintenance of security systems, including CCTV, alarm systems, and access control.
  • Provide security training to store employees on topics such as loss prevention, emergency procedures, and active shooter response.
  • Monitor security trends and emerging threats, and recommend proactive measures to mitigate risks.
  • Serve as a point of contact for security-related issues within the assigned region.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to security and safety.
  • Travel to retail locations within the assigned region as needed (30%- 50%)

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in multi-store/location security management, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Strong knowledge of retail security best practices, loss prevention techniques, and security systems. Working knowledge of security equipment and software packages including CCTV, Burglar alarms, POS exception reporting, etc.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated proficiency in conducting investigations and integrity interviews.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel to retail locations within the assigned region (up to 30%)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Wicklander or Reid interviewing and integration certification preferred
  • Experience managing a team of security professionals.
  • Experience working with high-end or luxury retail brands.
