The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with messaging security, scripting, regulatory compliance, and a passion for providing high-quality operational support and engineering solutions. This role requires both a strategic mindset and hands-on technical skills, with a focus on collaboration, documentation, and continuous improvement. SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Support cloud-based messaging and archiving solutions with a focus on reliability, scalability, and security. Provide user support, software/hardware training, and operational troubleshooting for enterprise environments. Create shell programs and utility scripts to streamline operations and automate repetitive tasks. Manage and support 24x7 mission-critical systems, ensuring system uptime and incident response. Design, document, and implement technical solutions that align with business and compliance requirements. Collaborate with business and technical teams to define requirements and build detailed engineering documentation including designs and test plans. Maintain high standards of security, including TLS (SMTP over TLS), HSMs, and domain authentication protocols like OAuth, Kerberos, and Modern Authentication. Support enterprise security efforts by working with network components including firewalls and load balancers. Stay current on regulatory, legal, and compliance needs specific to the financial sector. Promote and apply ITIL and Agile best practices to improve service delivery. Provide clear and effective verbal and written communications to both technical and non-technical audiences. Engage in knowledge sharing and mentoring in a highly collaborative team environment. Maintain documentation and process consistency to ensure operational excellence. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of experience supporting cloud-based messaging and archiving systems. Experience with Proofpoint Social Patrol and Enterprise Archive. Proficiency in scripting and automation using shell programming and utility scripts. Experience supporting enterprise security protocols and components (e.g., TLS, SMTP, OAuth, Kerberos, HSMs). Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in financial or highly regulated environments. Demonstrated experience supporting high-availability, mission-critical 24x7 systems. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a proactive mindset. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage shifting priorities, pivot as needed, and deliver results independently. Familiarity with ITIL and Agile methodologies. Experience documenting detailed technical designs, test plans, and operational procedures. MCP, CCNP, or similar certifications preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Comfortable working in a collaborative environment and contributing ideas. Support development of IAM strategy, roadmap, and architecture across key IAM components: Authentication Authorization Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) Privileged Access Management (PAM) Support design and deployment of IAM products and services. Support industry standards, regulatory compliance, and customer business requirements. Drive IAM root cause analysis, support, troubleshooting, and post mortem for incidents and service issues. Perform systems modeling, simulation, and analysis to identify, analyze, and resolve problems. Support the modernization of on-premises identity solutions, or migration to modern, cloud-native offerings Lead IAM initiatives around tenant consolidations, identity maturity, and M&A activities Maintain, upgrade, and support existing customer IAM systems. Develop technical documentation for both logical and physical systems. Provide technical guidance and best practices to customers as needed. Collaborate with other departments to develop business cases associated with new project requests. Stay current with industry certifications in Identity and Access Management disciplines. JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Messaging and Archiving Engineer to support our cloud-based messaging and enterprise archiving platforms in a mission-critical, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with messaging security, scripting, regulatory compliance, and a passion for providing high-quality operational support and engineering solutions. This role requires both a strategic mindset and hands-on technical skills, with a focus on collaboration, documentation, and continuous improvement.


SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Support cloud-based messaging and archiving solutions with a focus on reliability, scalability, and security.

  • Provide user support, software/hardware training, and operational troubleshooting for enterprise environments.

  • Create shell programs and utility scripts to streamline operations and automate repetitive tasks.

  • Manage and support 24x7 mission-critical systems, ensuring system uptime and incident response.

  • Design, document, and implement technical solutions that align with business and compliance requirements.

  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to define requirements and build detailed engineering documentation including designs and test plans.

  • Maintain high standards of security, including TLS (SMTP over TLS), HSMs, and domain authentication protocols like OAuth, Kerberos, and Modern Authentication.

  • Support enterprise security efforts by working with network components including firewalls and load balancers.

  • Stay current on regulatory, legal, and compliance needs specific to the financial sector.

  • Promote and apply ITIL and Agile best practices to improve service delivery.

  • Provide clear and effective verbal and written communications to both technical and non-technical audiences.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of experience supporting cloud-based messaging and archiving systems.

  • Experience with Proofpoint Social Patrol and Enterprise Archive.

  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using shell programming and utility scripts.

  • Experience supporting enterprise security protocols and components (e.g., TLS, SMTP, OAuth, Kerberos, HSMs).

  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in financial or highly regulated environments.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting high-availability, mission-critical 24x7 systems.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a proactive mindset.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.
