The Department: Platform Security The Role: Staff Enterprise Security Engineer The Staff Enterprise Security Engineer leads initiatives to secure Gemini’s corporate infrastructure and employee endpoints. Position Overview: We are seeking professional and vigilant Security Personnel to oversee the safety and security of our establishment The selected candidate will be the first point of contact for managing access to the venue, ensuring a secure environment for guests and staff throughout their visit. 

 Key Responsibilities: 

  • Guest Screening: Greet guests upon their arrival and manage entry, ensuring only appropriate and safe individuals gain access to the establishment.
  • Safety Management: Monitor guest behavior to prevent altercations and ensure a safe environment for all patrons and staff.
  • Conflict Resolution: Respond to disturbances promptly and effectively, employing conflict resolution skills to deescalate situations without resorting to physical confrontation whenever possible.
  • Rule Enforcement: Ensure all venue policies regarding age, intoxication levels, and conduct are strictly enforced.
  • Emergency Response: Act quickly and efficiently in emergency situations, providing first aid response if certified, and coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.

Qualifications:
 
  • Experience in Security: Prior experience in a security role, preferably in a nightlife or hospitality setting, with a proven track record of maintaining safe environments.
  • Strong Presence: Capable of commanding respect and compliance from guests without intimidation.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and respectfully interact with patrons and team members.
  • Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly assess and handle potentially dangerous situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Certifications: Possession of relevant security certifications, including state-required licenses or training such as crowd control, conflict de-escalation, and possibly first aid.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation: $15.00 per hour
