Solid technical skills and experience fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems. Solid programming skills and proven ability to troubleshoot problems and look for solutions To be a self-starter and work well with minimal supervision. Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude (e.g. works with a variety of hand and power tools such as drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, hacksaw, crimper) and ability to read blueprints and drawings; solid math skills (for some positions, this may include calculating area, velocity, resistance, voltage, etc.). Security Officer Qualifications and Skills Must be able to stand for up to 6 hours Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Basic computer skills Interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Education and Experience Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required AZ DPS Armed Guard card/certification Previous experience in the field of security CPR/first Aid certified Continuing educating/training in the field of security completed annually As Armed Security, you are Ojos Locos’ first line of defense. Security Office Job Responsibilities ID Checks Screening patrons (weapons/illegal substances) Report incidents identifying who, what, why, when and how. These reports should be emailed at the end of the shift. Any use of force should be reported immediately to the Director of Security and to the above email by the end of shift. Monitor restaurant premises with walk throughs, make your presence known, check restroom and outdoor exit areas and any other areas of concealment. Monitor the parking lot from the main door or the immediate area of our facility. Make sure no guests smoke/vape in areas that are not designated for smoking/vaping. Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Monitor coworker activity for safety and assistance when necessary. Acknowledge and execute the Security’s Key items to protect Ojos Locos Agreement. There are three positions within Security: check ID’s, screen patrons, and monitoring the premises/patrons. The expected work hours are as scheduled, typically between the hours of 7 pm until 3am Thursday through Saturday and 7pm until 1 am Sunday through Wednesday. You are responsible for clocking in and out during each shift. Failure to do so may be grounds for discipline, up to and including termination. Responsibilities: • Participate as the primary security engineering representative on engineering teams for design, development, implementation and/or integration of secure networking, computing, and enclave environments • Participate as the primary security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation and/or integration of IA architectures, systems, or system components • Apply knowledge of IA policy, procedures, and workforce structure to design, develop, and implement secure networking, computing, and enclave environments • Interact with the customer and other project team members • Support the Government in the enforcement of the design and implementation of trusted relationships among external systems and architectures • Support security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management • Identify overall security requirements for the proper handling of Government data • Perform system or network designs that encompass multiple enclaves, to include those with differing data protection/classification requirements • Recommend system-level solutions to resolve security requirements • Provide expert guidance and work product evaluation to one or more security engineers that support Engineering teams for the design, development, implementation, evaluation, and/or integration of secure networking, computing, and enclave environments • Advocate and recommend system-level solutions to resolve security requirements. • Monitors and provides suggestions for improvement to IA policy • Interact with customers, IT staff, and high-level corporate officers to define and achieve the required IA objectives • Provide the Government assistance to ensure that the architecture and design of information systems are functional and secure, including program of record systems and special purpose environments with platform IT interconnectivity • Support security authorization activities in compliance with NSA/CSS Information System Certification and Accreditation Process (NISCAP) and DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF), the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) process, and prescribed Sponsor business processes for security engineering. Qualifications: Required: • An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph • Twenty (20) years’ experience as an ISSE on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Desired: This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately.   • Installs, programs, test, repairs, and services a variety of non-routine systems and equipment which may include security, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation.  Colleague is key interface for the provision of technical support and training for the customer and as such is accountable for maximizing customer satisfaction.  Refers only the most complex issues to higher levels.
  • Reads basic blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures; Interprets manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams, and repairs equipment, utilizing knowledge of electronics and using standard test instruments and hand tools.
  • Operates systems to demonstrate equipment, commission new systems, analyze performance and identify malfunctions. Writes a variety of non-routine programs for systems.
  • Acts as “our customer’s best service provider” at all times thereby ensuring Convergint Technologies is the customer’s first choice for service.
  • Consults with engineering personnel to resolve unusual problems in system operation, maintenance, and warranty work.
  • May advise management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, installation techniques and standards as well as suggestions for product improvements.
  • Executes most of the technical aspects of multiple projects with varying timelines and budgets including programming, graphics development, start-up, certification testing, customer training, close-out documentation, and on-going technical support etc..
  • Identifies potential project risks, communicates to appropriate parties and assist in the development and implementation of strategies to minimize impact and to control deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines.
  • Works closely with the Project Manager and/or Operations Manager and assists in the overall coordination of specific projects; makes recommendations regarding quality of work and potential changes in scope, and identifies ways to continuously improve customer satisfaction.
  • Using technical knowledge, skills and experience, acts as a mentor to less experienced staff. May supervise workers in testing, tuning, and adjusting equipment to obtain optimum operating performance.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

What You’ll Need

  • Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted.
  • Solid technical skills and experience fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems.
  • Solid programming skills and proven ability to troubleshoot problems and look for solutions
  • To be a self-starter and work well with minimal supervision.
  • Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude (e.g. works with a variety of hand and power tools such as drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, hacksaw, crimper) and ability to read blueprints and drawings; solid math skills (for some positions, this may include calculating area, velocity, resistance, voltage, etc.).
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Advanced computer skills including familiarity with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and proficient in other relevant applications.
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel locally to jobsites on a regular basis. Minimal overnight travel may be required.
