About The Role Drive many security capabilities as services to the global business. Provide Subject Matter Expertise in multiple security domains for detection and protection controls. Previous experience in medium sized to large teams. Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and drive security understanding for a platform. Experience with different privacy concerns to include areas like European Workers Council and GDPR Knowledge of cybersecurity governance, design, and operations. 5+ years of cyber security architecture and engineering experience. Compensation The anticipated salary range for this position is $130,000 to $160,000 at the commencement of employment. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered will ultimately be dependent on multiple factors, which may include the candidate's geographic location, skills, experience and other qualifications. In addition, the position is eligible for a discretionary bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. Who You'll Work With

The Information Technology organization is the technological foundation of our business and works in collaboration with our partners from across the company. The team drives technology and digital transformation, partners with business leaders to design and execute new strategies through IT and operations services and ensures the necessary IT risk management and security measures are in place and aligned with enterprise architecture standards and principles.

About The Role

  • Drive many security capabilities as services to the global business.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise in multiple security domains for detection and protection controls.
  • Interface with multiple Line of Business CIO's to develop and support innovative security solutions to minimize risk and streamline business processes.
  • Influence the adoption of architecture standards and blueprints across diverse technology platforms.
  • Engage with vendors and cross-functional application teams, network, infrastructure and information security teams to secure and measure effective implementation.
  • Own one or more security domains and standards for architecture strategy planning and roadmap.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Extensive technical experience in Cybersecurity and Information Technology.
  • Experience with cyber security implementations within a major Cloud operating environment.
  • Experience working with threat intelligence and security operations organizations in response to the latest security threats.
  • Experience developing cyber defense strategy including multiple layers of defense.
  • Proficient in established and emerging cybersecurity architectures and frameworks, such as XDR and Zero Trust.
  • Expertise and hands-on experience with Endpoint, Mobile, Server & Container Security, and EDR solutions.
  • Experience scripting desired, i.e., Bash, Python, Powershell.
  • Previous experience in medium sized to large teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and drive security understanding for a platform.
  • Experience with different privacy concerns to include areas like European Workers Council and GDPR
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity governance, design, and operations.
  • 5+ years of cyber security architecture and engineering experience.
  • Strong ability to communicate via written and verbal communication in both formal and casual situations.
  • Lead through example, demonstrating a global mindset and openness to a diversity of perspectives.
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships with customers, partners, sales teams, and cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or proven record of experience in Information Technology and Cyber Security roles.

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is $130,000 to $160,000 at the commencement of employment. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered will ultimately be dependent on multiple factors, which may include the candidate's geographic location, skills, experience and other qualifications.

In addition, the position is eligible for a discretionary bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.

Work Location

This position is based in Corebridge Financial's Jersey City, NC, Houston, TX, or Durham, NC office and is subject to our hybrid working policy, which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.
