RESPONSIBILITIES: Own all SCI security aspects within a fast-paced SCIF environment Support FSO in day to day collateral security requirements Support all program security aspects of our SCI missions, to include Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), OPSEC plans, PPP's, DD254's, etc. Enforce DD254 provisions and own the issuance of subcontractor DD254s Coordinate SCI indoctrinations/debriefings Partner with Mission Management and government representatives to ensure program deliverables are met Create and update all annual refresher, indoctrination, and exit briefings as needed in accordance with policy and government customer requirements Partner with Mission Management and Engineering teams to enhance their understanding of the program classification and other protection requirements Possess a strong understanding of SCG development and ability to influence customer determinations Maintain accountability of associated program materials Prepare for and successfully execute compliance inspections, including self-inspections Conduct security related inquires and incident reporting Keep abreast of the latest security trends and policy updates, implementing innovative solutions and processes Attend and support various customer meetings and working groups BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalency certificate 5+ years security experience performing NISPOM related security responsibilities 7+ years security experience performing responsibilities specifically within a SCI environment Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Note that an active clearance may provide the opportunity for you to work on sensitive SpaceX missions. Those with an active clearance will receive a 10% differential, up to an additional $15,000 annually, once officially briefed into a classified program. Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock, stock options, or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan. SR. INDUSTRIAL SECURITY ANALYST (MDSO)

SpaceX is looking for a multidisciplinary Industrial Security Officer (MDSO) to serve as a Senior Security Analyst within our Hawthorne, CA office. This is a chance to fill a critical role within a dynamic and high-tempo environment working on programs pushing the boundaries of industry and technology. A successful candidate will be a self-starter and problem-solver and will possess the ability to convey security requirements to a diverse group of technical personnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own all SCI security aspects within a fast-paced SCIF environment
  • Support FSO in day to day collateral security requirements
  • Support all program security aspects of our SCI missions, to include Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), OPSEC plans, PPP's, DD254's, etc.
  • Enforce DD254 provisions and own the issuance of subcontractor DD254s
  • Coordinate SCI indoctrinations/debriefings
  • Partner with Mission Management and government representatives to ensure program deliverables are met
  • Create and update all annual refresher, indoctrination, and exit briefings as needed in accordance with policy and government customer requirements
  • Partner with Mission Management and Engineering teams to enhance their understanding of the program classification and other protection requirements
  • Possess a strong understanding of SCG development and ability to influence customer determinations
  • Maintain accountability of associated program materials
  • Prepare for and successfully execute compliance inspections, including self-inspections
  • Conduct security related inquires and incident reporting
  • Keep abreast of the latest security trends and policy updates, implementing innovative solutions and processes
  • Attend and support various customer meetings and working groups

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • 5+ years security experience performing NISPOM related security responsibilities
  • 7+ years security experience performing responsibilities specifically within a SCI environment
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Note that an active clearance may provide the opportunity for you to work on sensitive SpaceX missions. If so, you will be subject to pre-employment drug and random drug and alcohol testing

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • Strong knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and other related security policies and procedures
  • Familiarity with DISS, NBIS, TALON and Scattered Castles
  • Familiarity with SIMS

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to favorably complete a U.S. Government CI scope polygraph
  • Ability to travel in support of mission requirements
  • Willingness to work extended hours or weekends as needed in support of mission-critical deadlines and milestones

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range:

Sr. Industrial Security Analyst: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00/per year

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Those with an active clearance will receive a 10% differential, up to an additional $15,000 annually, once officially briefed into a classified program.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock, stock options, or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
