Position Overview The Security Systems Technician is responsible for monitoring and maintaining Vantage data centers security systems to ensure all customer security needs are met. By joining our Hammond team, you will join a globally recognized site, that is also famous for being able to produce a billion bars in one year Who You Are & What You’ll Do The Security Guard role will involve conducting the basic security operations, providing overall support to the site SHE and Security manager to develop and implement all applicable security standards at site All security guards must be polite, approachable, neat and presentable, demonstrating excellent customer service Promote the first impression of the business focusing on the creating and maintaining a professional image to be projected to all and dealing with enquiries promptly and effectively whether in person, over the phone or via email Deal with contractors, issuing them ID’s and noting their entries into the relevant logs Make rounds of inspection at fixed intervals and reports in by means of radio or other devices Prevent the admittance to the premises of unauthorized persons Report damage to perimeter or other property or buildings which compromise security Review CCTV recordings and provide functional support for physical security Manage daily activities regarding plant entry and video security Monitor and control security video cameras Performing 50% of vehicle checks / inspections of all vehicles entering and leaving the plant Validating all vehicles and drivers coming into the plant and ensuring all sign in and their identity is verified by providing a valid government issued identification IE Manage and control all gates (Train, Employee, emergency access gates) Monitor and printing CCURE0 reports Monitor plant emissions 24Hrs a day Manage confined space documents, recordings reading and documenting in and out times of contractors inside confined space• Maintain and check in and out plant communication radios• Report progress and any work-related incidents to the security department manager Perform access control responsibilities including managing badges access cards and visitor cards Performing shipping clerks duties during off shifts after the clerks on duty leave (Monday – Friday 10 PM – 6 AM) and on weekends after 2PM until the following morning when the clerk arrives Monitor truck/ merchandise entering and leaving the plant by checking seals and verifying that trailers are empty Check seals and match trailer numbers and PO numbers against bills of lading and center into computer Validate trailer numbers and PO numbers against Bill of lading in the PINC system and dispatch in the system Replace seals whenever there is an issue and document in PINC, date stamp and initial paperwork Security takes care of all medical issues in the absence of a nurse and during off shifts What You’ll Need To Succeed High school diploma or GED equivalent A minimum experience of 3 years as a security guard Valid Driver's License Manage access control to restricted areas coordinate with SHE manager on security protocols and requirements and analyze identification forms Understanding of security management systems in depthFirst aid, CPR AED certification (Must keep current) Knowledge of several computer programs in order to input necessary information required for different departments Experience and understanding and knowledge of all systems under security's control (access control, CCTV, fire panel, key controls etc.) and control the associated process to make sure these systems are used to maximum efficiency Employment is subject to verification of pre-screening tests, which may include drug screening, pre-employment physical, background check and DMV check. As a Senior Software Engineer on our Platform Security Engineering team, you will be a key member in helping us keep our players safe as they play and pay in our epic game universes. You will work on a small, dynamic, and inclusive team building and maintaining the services that monitor account activity, account safety, financial transactions, game actions, and so much more. The services you will support are critical in finding cheaters and protecting players from bad actors. 
 
You will have an incredible impact across all of Blizzard, including games teams, social services, ecommerce, customer service, finance, and legal. Our services run in every region in the world, 24 hours a day, so you will participate in a regular on-call rotation with the other engineers on the team. 

This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The home studio for this position is located in Irvine, CA. 

 

Responsibilities: 
· Design, implement, test, and maintain services and automation that serve as the backbone for our global presence – detecting and punishing bad guys in our games and platform 
· Work closely with remote team members to tackle hard problems, diagnose impactful issues, and implement solutions quickly 
· Take the lead on complex projects, flexing your organization, communication, and project management skill to coordinate across multiple teams and drive your solution to production 
· Work with security analysts, customer service, legal, and other platform engineers to understand complex, globally deployed systems, and create solutions that meet unique constraints and delight our players 

  

Requirements: 
· 8+ years of development experience building highly reliable services in Java  
· Firm understanding of server architecture, web services, scalability solutions 
· Familiarity with SQL and relational databases 
· Great problem solving and debugging abilities. 
· Solid data structure and algorithm knowledge 
· Strong written and verbal communication skills 
· A great teammate to those you work with 

  

Pluses: 
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience  
· Familiarity with Jenkins, Docker, and enterprise build systems  
· Experience in other languages such as python or C# 
· Experience in data analysis or data technologies like Big Query and Splunk

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $121,500.00 - $224,880.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location.
