Knowledge of DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). Demonstrated experience with cyber security concepts to include encryption services, access control, information protection, network security.   • Provide support to Sponsor’s Information Technologies systems and provide operations and maintenance (O&M), system engineering and application development for Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and newly developed or customized applications for Sponsor systems. 
  • Provide support for system maintenance and troubleshooting for software and hardware components to maintain sustainability and reliability of the Sponsor’s systems and applications and ensure that all development and modifications to existing Sponsor applications comply with Sponsor’s security and architectural policies and regulations. 
  • Document all vulnerabilities, identify mitigations and proposed schedule to mitigating vulnerabilities. 
  • Develop documentation that meets Sponsor Authorization and Accreditation requirements; and continuously evaluate program risks and recommend solutions to improve systems security.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills:

  • ​Bachelors degree in Computer science or related field.
  • Experience and knowledge of Information Security (INFOSEC) policies. 
  • Experience understanding and evaluating security risks of systems and networks. 
  • Experience working independently with little or no day-to-day direction, in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Experience evaluating security risks of systems and networks. 
  • Experience working a variety of tasks simultaneously, establishing priorities, and making sound and timely decisions.
