This role will assist with monitoring security activity, responding to alerts, and helping maintain a secure cloud infrastructure.This position offers the opportunity to work closely with internal technology teams to support security monitoring, incident response, and ongoing cloud security initiatives.Key Responsibilities

• Monitor cloud environments for security alerts, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activity
• Investigate alerts and assist with incident response and remediation efforts
• Support administration and governance of identity and access controls
• Assist with implementation and maintenance of cloud security monitoring tools
• Help identify and remediate potential security risks within cloud environments
• Maintain documentation for security processes and operational procedures
• Collaborate with internal technology teams to support security best practices
• Assist with automation of operational tasks using scripting or infrastructure tools
• Contribute to ongoing improvements to cloud security monitoring and response capabilities

Required Experience

• 3+ years of experience working with cloud platforms
• Experience supporting security monitoring, incident response, or threat investigation
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure components such as networking, storage, and compute services
• Experience working with security monitoring or SIEM tools
• Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python, or similar)
• Understanding of identity and access management concepts
• Knowledge of general cloud security and governance best practices

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting security operations within cloud environments
• Familiarity with security frameworks or compliance standards
• Experience building automation to support operational security tasks
