Key Responsibilities: Deliver remote service and support for access control, intrusion, CCTV, and other security systems. Support basic electronic equipment installations, and supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of new systems. Perform advanced troubleshooting, programming, and configuration associated with industry software packages, operating systems, and hardware. Promote, build, and maintain good customer relations. Work closely with multiple systems integrators to deliver consistently high-quality results across all regions. Keep abreast of changes and new developments in products and technology and apply lessons learned to day-to-day operations. Attend and complete training programs as required to maintain skill level. Execute and coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs of security systems and equipment. Support security system equipment commissioning. Oversee final Test and Acceptance of security systems. Build and deploy training modules for users of Gartner's physical security systems. Other duties as assigned. Key Skills: + 3 years of experience in managing the operation, installation, and maintenance of regional and/or global physical security systems. Experience as a Physical Security Program Manager for large, complex, installations. Advanced knowledge and experience with the Security Integrator Industry. Excellent project management skills are required with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have experience in prioritizing tasks effectively and working seamlessly across organizational boundaries. Ability to read wiring schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, BlueBeam, or other design tools. Job Description

Summary:

The candidate will have a demonstrated subject matter expertise in physical security technology, and a strong track record in customer service and project management. This role will develop and implement global physical security standards in coordination with Gartner's regional security managers. The role will also liaise with Gartner's Real Estate team to improve the associate experience in our workplaces while maintaining Gartner's security standards. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work with little or no supervision, be exceedingly well organized, flexible, should enjoy the challenges of working on an entrepreneurial team, and must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive business information. They must also demonstrate a commitment to enabling Gartner's business through sound risk management practices and possess a no-limits, customer-service mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver remote service and support for access control, intrusion, CCTV, and other security systems.

  • Support basic electronic equipment installations, and supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of new systems.

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, programming, and configuration associated with industry software packages, operating systems, and hardware.

  • Promote, build, and maintain good customer relations.

  • Work closely with multiple systems integrators to deliver consistently high-quality results across all regions.

  • Keep abreast of changes and new developments in products and technology and apply lessons learned to day-to-day operations.

  • Attend and complete training programs as required to maintain skill level.

  • Execute and coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs of security systems and equipment.

  • Support security system equipment commissioning.

Key Skills:

  • + 3 years of experience in managing the operation, installation, and maintenance of regional and/or global physical security systems.

  • Experience as a Physical Security Program Manager for large, complex, installations. Advanced knowledge and experience with the Security Integrator Industry.

  • Excellent project management skills are required with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have experience in prioritizing tasks effectively and working seamlessly across organizational boundaries.

  • Ability to read wiring schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, BlueBeam, or other design tools.

  • High ethical standards with proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information; excellent judgment, and discretion.

  • Ability to travel 20% of the time, with valid passport

  • Ability to work off-hours to support global security deployments

  • Experience installing door strikes, magnetic locks, panels, power supplies, and other components of a mechanical nature.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Formal qualification(s) in electrical, engineering, or technical security field.

  • 5+ years of experience in corporate security and workplace safety.

  • Access Control and Video Surveillance industry certifications

  • ASIS Physical Security Professional (PSP) or similar certification.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 76,000 USD - 107,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
