This position is a two weeks on / two weeks off rotation (only work half the year!). For remote/live-in locations, room and board is provided, as is transportation from Anchorage or Fairbanks. The ideal candidate will possess deep hands-on knowledge across multiple cybersecurity domains-such as network exploitation, cryptographic systems, LLM adversarial testing, APT analysis, and cyber ethics-and have prior experience in red teaming, incident response, or threat intelligence. This role is pivotal to ensuring that all T&E artifacts generated by subcontracted experts meet the highest standards of realism, fidelity, and relevance. Key Responsibilities Domain oversight: Provide strategic oversight across all cyber subdomains including but not limited to malicious network traffic, cryptographic systems, adversarial LLM prompts, threat intelligence, and cyber ethics. Scoping & strategy: Collaborate with the Program Manager (you) to define project goals, deliverable scopes, evaluation frameworks, and technical benchmarks. Expert vetting: Assess the technical credibility of cyber experts proposed by subcontractors; conduct interviews and review technical artifacts to validate expertise. Quality control: Review and validate the accuracy, depth, and applicability of all datasets and question-answer pairs produced by subcontracted experts. Standardization: Establish and enforce evaluation rubrics, scenario fidelity criteria, and documentation standards to ensure consistency across all workstreams. Cross-domain bridging: Identify cross-domain gaps, propose integrated benchmark scenarios, and ensure logical alignment between adjacent domains (e.g., how network behavior supports APT identification). Stakeholder communication: Provide subject-matter advice to internal and external stakeholders on technical feasibility, risks, and coverage completeness. Required Skills 8+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, with demonstrated proficiency across multiple domains (e.g., red teaming, cryptography, network forensics, cyber threat intelligence, adversarial ML). Proven experience in one or more of the following: red-teaming LLMs, TTP identification using MITRE ATT&CK, cryptographic protocol evaluation, or creation of high-fidelity cyber scenarios. Familiarity with cybersecurity testing methodologies (e.g., penetration testing, adversarial simulation, red team exercises). Strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills with a strong technical writing background. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience leading or advising multi-expert technical teams across multiple cybersecurity disciplines. As the Technical Lead for our Security Engineering Group, you'll serve as both a hands-on technical expert and a technical leader, guiding teams of engineers in building security tools and scaling our systems. While this role focuses on technical leadership rather than people management, you'll be instrumental in technical decision-making, project execution, and mentoring team members. What you'll achieve: Lead technical design and implementation of complex security projects, writing high-quality code while guiding the team's technical direction. Drive architectural decisions and technical strategy for Corporate Security, Infrastructure Security, and Product Security, ensuring alignment with broader security and engineering goals. Mentor team members through technical guidance, code reviews, and architectural discussions. Coordinate with customers, product teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical implementations. Participate in and lead the on-call rotation, setting examples for security incident management. Balance and prioritize technical debt, feature work, and security improvements. About you: 10+ years of experience in software development & security with experience in identifying security issues and then developing software solutions as mitigations. JOB SUMMARY

Under limited supervision, officers provide protection of work sites, personnel and assets from events such as assault, theft, vandalism, harassment, and other disruptive incidents along the Alyeska Pipeline. This position is a two weeks on / two weeks off rotation (only work half the year!). For remote/live-in locations, room and board is provided, as is transportation from Anchorage or Fairbanks. For non-live-in locations, COLA is provided (no room/board/transportation provided).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Minimum of one year of experience as an officer (or above) with a municipal, state or federal law enforcement agency, military police unit, corrections or private security company within the past five years

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Make arrests if necessary, using handcuffs
  • From a variety of body positions, load, unload, aim and fire handguns, shotguns and other agency firearms
  • Perform searches of people, vehicles, vessels, buildings, and large outdoor areas
  • Confront suspicious persons, assess intentions, and take action as appropriate
  • Perform rescue functions at accidents, emergencies and disasters
  • Effectively and coherently communicate over radio channels while initiating and responding to radio communications
  • Utilize clear and appropriate communication skills when communicating with people
  • Gather information in investigations by interviewing and obtaining the statements of all participants and witnesses
  • Exercise sound judgment in determining appropriate action
  • Comprehend, evaluate, and correctly respond to oral information
  • Maintain composure and control of the situation
  • Operate a motor vehicle during both the day and night in a variety of settings and in varying weather condition
  • Conduct visual surveillance for extended periods of time
