About the Role: On behalf of the Camden City School District, UTRS is seeking an experienced Cyber and Network Security Engineer to manage and secure the district's network infrastructure. This role requires a technical expert who can ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of the network, implement cybersecurity measures, monitor network security, and respond to security incidents to protect the district's data and systems. What will you be doing? Network Management: Manage all communications network equipment and related network connectivity. This position will require the following skillsets and experience: Experience: 5+ years of experience in network engineering and cybersecurity, preferably within an educational or public sector environment. Knowledge Areas: Network topologies, engineering, and security best practices. Cybersecurity frameworks and compliance (e.g., NIST 800-53, CMMC, FISMA, FedRAMP).   • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and telephone technique and the ability to effectively interact externally and internally.
  • Valid driver's license required with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to successfully complete first aid training
  • Experience with PC programs including SharePoint, Word, Excel, and outlook. Must have a strong computer background.
