Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a seasoned and detailed-oriented Platform Product Manager to lead the definition, evolution, and scale of our One Security Platform (OSP); a cloud-native platform underpinning our Access Control, Video Surveillance, and AI-powered security products.

This is a pivotal role responsible for enabling product teams, partners, and developers to innovate and build upon a shared, extensible foundation. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience building and launching software platforms, a deep technical understanding of APIs, multi-tenant cloud architecture, and ideally a background in physical security or IoT integrated solutions.

What you will do & how you will do it:

  • Platform Strategy & Roadmap

    • Own and define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the core platform services and APIs that power OSP.

    • Collaborate with product, engineering, and architecture teams to build scalable, secure, and reusable services.

    • Translating stakeholder needs into platform capabilities that enable rapid product development across teams.

  • Developer Ecosystem & Integration Enablement

    • Define APIs, SDKs, and frameworks to enable third-party partners to integrate with OSP.

    • Champion a great developer experience (DX): from onboarding to documentation to supportability.

    • Work with internal teams and partners to establish integration guidelines, sandbox environments, and governance models.

  • Cross-Functional Alignment

    • Partner with access control, video, and AI product teams to ensure platform consistency and adoption.

    • Manage platform backlog, prioritize work across stakeholders, and coordinate across scrum teams.

    • Lead cross-team initiatives to ensure platform scalability, performance, and compliance.

  • Security & Compliance Awareness

    • Understand and incorporate security industry requirements (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR, FICAM, FIPS 201, NDAA) into platform design.

    • Collaborate with infosec and compliance teams to ensure platform readiness for regulated environments.

  • User Experience

    • Advocate for consistent, unified UX across products built on the platform (UI frameworks, identity, permissions, etc.).

    • Partner with design and front-end teams to enable shared UI components and design systems.

  • Metrics & Performance

    • Define and track KPIs for platform adoption, usage, reliability, and developer satisfaction.

    • Continuously gather feedback from internal teams and partners to improve platform usability and performance.

What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in software product management, with 2+ years specifically focused on platform service-connected products.

  • Proven experience building or managing cloud-based, multi-tenant platforms used across multiple products or services.

  • Deep understanding of APIs, microservices architecture, authentication/authorization, and platform reliability patterns.

  • Experience working with engineering teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and cross-functional communication skills.

  • Ability to translate abstract needs into detailed product requirements and roadmaps.

  • Comfortable managing technical complexity, prioritizing competing demands, and aligning cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Experience in Physical Security and IoT domains is a Plus.

  • Experience launching developer programs, API marketplaces, or partner enablement platforms is a Plus.

  • Background in UX/UI frameworks, design systems, or developer toolkits is a Plus.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $127,000 – 160,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual, group, and corporate performance. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
