As Senior Manager, DevOps at Arhaus, you will lead the strategic development and operational execution of DevOps practices that power our retail ecosystem. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Infrastructure & Platform Ownership: Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of infrastructure that supports retail-critical applications. Monitoring & Incident Management: Establish real-time monitoring, alerting, and incident response strategies to ensure reliable uptime for customer-facing platforms, including mobile apps, POS systems, and online storefronts. Security & Compliance: Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure infrastructure meets industry regulations (e.g., PCI DSS), integrating security practices throughout the deployment lifecycle. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, development, security, and store operations teams to align DevOps strategies with retail initiatives, ensuring agility and alignment with business goals. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing DevOps engineering team, fostering innovation, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement. Cost & Capacity Planning: Analyze and forecast infrastructure requirements, optimizing for performance and cost-efficiency-particularly around seasonal spikes and omnichannel expansion. Requirements: Proven leadership experience managing DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams in a retail, e-commerce, or high-availability environment. Strong knowledge of DevOps tools and practices (e.g., GitOps, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD). Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure automation in large-scale production systems. Familiarity with retail systems, including POS, inventory management, order fulfillment, and customer-facing web/mobile apps. Strong grasp of DevSecOps principles and experience working in PCI-compliant environments. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across technical and business teams.   • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure automation in large-scale production systems.
  • Familiarity with retail systems, including POS, inventory management, order fulfillment, and customer-facing web/mobile apps.
  • Strong grasp of DevSecOps principles and experience working in PCI-compliant environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across technical and business teams.
