Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Speak, read, and write English

  • Minimum 2 years Security Guard Level 3 or comparable status

Expected Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates working knowledge of Cargill Affiliate location operations, including security procedures, policies, and regulations related to the execution of security services at the locations
  • Accountable for quality of all deliverables
  • Plans, organizes, directs and controls the security team for assigned Cargill Affiliate location during normal and emergency operations, including:

o Ensures that security staff are prepared for shift duties, including ensuring all posts are staffed for every shift

o Identifies improvements to delivery and execution of security services

o Handles all administrative reporting, including reviewing and signing all timesheets, maintaining shift incident reports and shift logs, submitting accurate data for payroll, etc.

o Develops staff in both technical and professional skills, including ongoing refresher training for all guards throughout calendar year

o Evaluates effectiveness of security staff response, knowledge, and competency

  • Resolves issues in a timely manner
  • Demonstrates ability to resolve conflicts through de-escalation techniques
  • Demonstrates ability to represent Supplier in the absence of the Site Security Manager
  • Demonstrates knowledge of practices in the security industry
