The armed Security Response Officer works collaboratively with security team and hospital staff to provide a safe environment for our stakeholders. Proactively addresses and de-escalates tense situations and/or conflict. Responds to requests for security assistance and works with law enforcement as needed. Maintains knowledge of various department locations, buildings, access routes and admitting requirements. Works with hospital management to identify the specific security needs of each location and/or department and responds appropriately. The armed Security Response Officer works collaboratively with security team and hospital staff to provide a safe environment for our stakeholders. Proactively addresses and de-escalates tense situations and/or conflict. Responds to requests for security assistance and works with law enforcement as needed. Enforces security policies and procedures of the hospital. Investigates incidents and prepares written reports. Provides security-related training and patrols the premises as needed. $17.00 - $24.00; based on work experience
