Residential Security Agent Team Lead Job details Travel-in opportunity – can live anywhere in the United States, team house to stay in during work weekJob Type: Full TimeCompensation: $115,000 annual compensationExempt Job Summary The Residential Security Agent Team Lead is responsible for leading a team in the Miami, FL area. There is a high level of client interaction as agents are assigned a multitude of estate management-related and day-to-day household tasks as requested by principals and/or staff. The Team Lead will be a solution minded individual that can work through problems, identify solutions, and communicate effectively with all key stakeholders. The Team Lead is responsible for a wide variety of tasks that ensure the success of the residential security team in supporting the principal, and their family. The role requires a quick learner who can adapt and perform effectively while maintaining high security standards. Flexibility is essential, as schedules and routines may shift with little notice. The ideal candidate brings prior experience as a Team Lead and training or education in areas such as defensive driving, emergency medical response, or executive protection, and is seeking a long-term role within the team. Duties Duties for this detail include, but are not limited to: Team Scheduling (Managing rotations at multiple sites, call outs, PTO, and other company needs). Maintaining compliance for the team with expected training throughout the year. Tracking required statistics daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly. Working through employee relations issues and reaching out to HR for assistance and guidance when necessary. Communicate and coordinate between multiple levels of management and other outside vendors to ensure smooth security and property management operations. Must interview prospective RST agents and assist in their onboarding process. Ensure the overall safety and security of designated principals and their properties. Maintain a knowledge of baseline principal, property and neighborhood activities Drive or tail principal/s, family member, guests Conduct advance work as needed Coordinate with site staff to accomplish common tasks Operate within parameters established by standard operating procedures and applicable laws Coordinate with and support executive protection element of the team Opportunities for driving and special off-site assignments/details. Demonstrate proficiency in use and proper maintenance for all equipment (i.e., vehicles, medical supplies, communications devices, etc.) Potential local travel approximately 5% -10% of the time to other RST sites or principal destinations. Must be flexible and open to working overtime shifts whether they are night or day shift, coming in early and staying late if needed. Must possess the ability to multitask in a very fast-paced environment. Must be able to stay vigilant sitting in a vehicle or security office for extended periods of time. Must be a proactive problem solver with the capability to work independently and as part of a team. Must possess a good understanding of the latest technology in security camera systems, use of smartphones, communications, and collaboration apps. Must be proficient in G-Suite applications. Must be dog friendly. Must keep a professional appearance, have good personal hygiene Must be responsive via phone call, text and email as needed to support the team. Excellent communicator with the ability to be personable, successfully interact with clients, superiors, peers, vendors and neighbors Position Qualifications 3-5 years of Management/Leadership experience working with diverse teams of people. 5+ years of Residential Security Experience on embedded programs. Physically fit to facilitate emergency responses Valid Driver's License with clean driving record American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED for Adult, Child & Infant certification Florida Class D & G Licenses Florida CCW permit Passport *All certifications must be current. Employees are responsible for keeping all certifications/licenses active Physical Requirements Ability to patrol the property and access areas quickly Physically able to capture and detain individuals if necessary Prolonged periods sitting of 5+ hours at a desk and monitoring surveillance equipment Prolonged periods of standing on your feet without a break 4-5+ hours Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time Must be able to lift, drag a human up to 200lbs or more, if necessary Must be able to bend, twist, stoop, crawl Being able to respond to physical attacks, natural disasters, evacuations Required Skills and Traits Excels working in a team environment Exceptional emotional intelligence Strong customer service skills Strong situational awareness and attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks frequently and for long durations High proficiency with firearms Excellent critical thinking and sound judgement Friendly, approachable and professional demeanor High moral and ethical character Desired Bachelor's degree Bilingual (Spanish, American Sign Language, etc.) Prior Team Lead experience Proficient in the use of social media collection tools in support of protective intelligence Training in defensive tactics, counter surveillance/surveillance detection, covert protection and basic medical support experience.
