This is a 24-hour County-owned Restorative Transformation Center (RTC), Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (MHRC) (also referred to as RTC/MHRC) specializing in serving people who have been identified as being Incompetent to Stand Trial (IST) or are otherwise court ordered to treatment at this level of care. Services will be provided for a maximum of 30 residential beds, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year (24/7). The 30 beds can be used for male and female clients interchangeably. A maximum of 20 beds are specific for IST consumers identified by Superior Court, Riverside Sheriff's Office (RSO), or Riverside University Health System- Behavioral Health (RUHS-BH) teams. Ten beds are designated for consumers needing residential services with a secondary focus on consumers under Laura's Law/AOT, and Other RUHS-BH and Superior Court Diversion Programs. Shifts Available: Friday and Saturday 11:00 pm- 7:30 am (Short Hour) Friday and Saturday 3:00 pm- 11:30 pm (Short Hour) Sunday and Monday 7:00 am- 3:30 pm (Short Hour) Expected starting wage range is $21 - $23.09. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements. POSITION SUMMARY The Security and Safety Monitor is responsible for the welcoming of new residents and day to day safety and security monitoring of the program. Perform an independent review of the System Security Plan (SSP) and make approval decisions. Request and negotiate the level of testing required for an IS with the Enterprise Information Security Section and the FBI Authorizing Official. Schedule security control assessments in coordination with the system owner. Coordinate IS security inspections, tests, and reviews with the Security and system owner. Submit the final SAA package to the FBI Authorizing Official for a security ATO decision. Ensure that the Security ATO Electronic Communication (EC) is serialized into Sentinel under the applicable case file number. Advise the FBI Authorizing Official of IS vulnerabilities and residual risks. Ensure that all POA&M actions are completed and tested. Coordinate initiation of an event-driven reauthorization with the FBI Authorizing Official. Ensure the removal and retirement of FBI ISs being decommissioned, in coordination with the SO, ISSO, and ISSR. Required Skills & Experience At least 7 years serving as an ISSR at a cleared facility. Minimum of 10 years work experience in a computer science or Cybersecurity related field. Hold Aat least one of the following certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Global Information Security Professional (GISP), or the CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) or other certifications exemplifying skill sets such as those described in DoD Instruction 8570.1 IAM Level III proficiency. Responsibilities: Overseeing the physical security of the site in regards to protection of assets and personnel Supervising and controlling personnel access into the facility Monitoring and reporting the following: event alarms triggered on the access control system and or Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) system, ID/access badge issues, physical security of the site, and the historical log book Responding to, evaluating, and resolving any event alarms received at the console monitoring station Conducting roving patrol inspections of the Broadridge facilities, both external and internal, and notifying the proper Broadridge authority of any issues found, including procedural breaches in security policies Keeping the Security Management Team informed of all security matters and issues as they pertain to the site and performing additional duties as directed Must be able to work from 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM Sunday- Thursday with occasional overtime. Shift is subject to change based on coverage and department needs. Must be able to travel and perform other related duties and functions as assigned by management Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent is required Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner with other Security and Facility personnel, both verbally and in the written form Must be vigilant, reporting any security issues or incidents Knowledge of filing and phone courtesy is required Ability to use personal computer including, but not limited to, a basic level of the following: Typing, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint is required CPR certification preferred Salary range is $18.00 hourly. As a Classroom Security Paraprofessional with The Menta Education Group, you will be responsible for working with classroom instructors and staff to offer support to students in the classroom, as well as general support for all students in the school.

8:00am-3:30pm CT, Monday-Friday, following a school calendar

Hiring for All Grade Levels K-21, Small Self-Contained Rooms

Direct Hire with our school: Return school year after school year (no annual contract)

Responsibilities

  • De-escalate and manage classroom behaviors
  • Implement and maintain behavioral program policies and data
  • Maintain classroom order and safety (security)
  • Provide general supervision of students inside the classroom setting
  • Assist in the prevention and management of incidents of non-compliance and/or escalation in behavior
  • Maintain alertness for problems likely to disrupt the educational process or to be a safety concern and correct and report these conditions Respond to emergency situations
  • Provide interventions to students to assist in managing behaviors
  • Think quickly, independently, and tactfully

Qualifications

  • Security or Juvenile Justice background is helpful
  • Military Veterans are encouraged to apply
  • Bachelor's Degree in Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Social Services, Kinesiology, Health or related fields are encouraged, but not required.
  • Ability to operate tactfully under stress
  • Flexibility to change in routines
  • At least 23 years of age
  • Able to work with high-risk special needs students
  • Good driving record and willing and able to drive student van is strongly preferred
