Serve as a liaison with line-of business product and engineering leaders, IT, and risk teams to address security needs across all portfolios. Maintain up-to-date awareness of emerging threats, technologies, and best practices; integrate relevant advancements into the security program. Represent the Sinch's information security interests in cross-functional committees and industry forums, and serve as a key advisor to internal affiliates. Lead, develop, and evaluate a team of security professionals; ensure performance management, succession planning, and skills development. What you will be doing Manage Internal Security oversight of our New York facility (others as needed) Provide executive protection services to designated staff Assist with security planning for large company events License to carry when needed with proper training and maintain certifications Handel enhancement planning, configuration, security and performance tuning of the security systems Resolve complex problems utilizing cross department resources associated with these applications/systems Remain current on developments in related fields through research and publications Security Manage the security software package consisting of a state of the art electronic physical access control system (ePACS) and video imaging system that includes an IP video management system (VMS) component, security alarm monitoring and employee badge identification. Assists with security site assessments. Manage and conduct internal security investigations, as required. Assist with periodic risk assessments and internal audits for security issues. Assist with developing and maintaining effective liaisons with law enforcement agencies at all levels and other professional security associations. Assist with the development, implementation, monitoring and updates of Genworth security policies and procedures. Assist with making policy changes concerning physical/technical and procedural security solutions. Systems Documentation and Programming Develop and program security systems and procedures designed to protect Genworth employees and assets. Develop and maintain documentation of security systems to include systems administration, maintenance, and security procedures. Coordinate systems technology projects with other information technology project managers, Genworth staff and outside vendors to complete required project tasks. What you bring Bachelor's degree in physical security, criminal justice or other related field of study OR equivalent professional work experience required Experience in executive, dignitary, or VIP protection Previous law enforcement experience with the ability to carry a firearm under LEOSA (Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act) Experience in the electronic security field utilizing ePACS, VMS, intrusion detection systems, with direct support of personal computers, networks and telecommunications Experience working with Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Office Experience and familiarity with data monitoring, acquisition and control systems, building control systems, CCure or similar ePACS systems, exacqVision or similar VMS systems, fire alarm systems, software/hardware Excellent oral and written communication, effective interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively deal with employees, contractors, vendors, the public, visitors and dignitaries on a daily basis Excellent leadership skills; display of effective analytical problem-solving, decision-making; and investigative skills Maintain high level of confidentiality General knowledge of Windows Operating System and familiarity with Internet access Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects Ability to handle commitment to deadlines and function without direct supervision Ability to travel frequently with executives as necessary Nice to have: Management or related leadership experience Some experience in Security Management in a corporate environment 3+ years of experience in budget management, project management, information technology and/or property management Employee Benefits & Well-Being Genworth employees make a difference in people's lives every day. Job Description

The Director, Information Security Engineering and Architecture provides strategic leadership and oversight for Sinch's Security Architecture, Identity Management, Threat Management and other security engineering and architecture initiatives such as cloud detection/response teams in close coordination with our product and engineering leadership teams. This role is accountable for developing and executing an integrated security strategy aligned with the Sinch's risk posture, regulatory expectations, and digital initiatives. The Director leads cross-functional teams, manages budgets and vendor relationships, and ensures that security technologies and frameworks are optimized to protect critical assets while enabling business operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work directly with the Global CISO and Information Security leadership team to develop strategic plans and roadmaps for the company.
  • Lead the strategic design, implementation, and management of enterprise-wide security architecture to align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the development, maintenance, and execution of a robust Identity Management program, ensuring secure, compliant access to systems and data.
  • Direct the Security Engineering and Architecture function, ensuring availability, scalability, and effectiveness of all security tools and processes.
  • Serve as a liaison with line-of business product and engineering leaders, IT, and risk teams to address security needs across all portfolios.
  • Maintain up-to-date awareness of emerging threats, technologies, and best practices; integrate relevant advancements into the security program.
  • Represent the Sinch's information security interests in cross-functional committees and industry forums, and serve as a key advisor to internal affiliates.
  • Lead, develop, and evaluate a team of security professionals; ensure performance management, succession planning, and skills development.
  • Develop tactical and strategic metrics to assess program maturity, drive accountability, and demonstrate progress to executive stakeholders.
