Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, employees, and assets within our retail store. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle potential security threats effectively.
Responsibilities:
  • Patrol the sales floor and other designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, theft, or any other security threats.
  • Monitor security cameras and alarm systems to identify suspicious activity and respond promptly.
  • Provide a visible presence to deter potential criminal activity and ensure a safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Conduct regular inspections of entrances, exits, and high-value merchandise areas to ensure security protocols are being followed.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in law enforcement, military, or armed security preferred.
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making skills, especially in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and employees.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and accountability.
  • Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and perform security patrols for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
