Ensure compliance with 32 CFR Part 117 , and applicable customer-specific security requirements Engage and advise the Facilities Security Officer on security related initiatives by identifying issues that potentially impact business operations Assists Facilities Security Officer with creating and executing a robust and comprehensive security education program by ensuring program personnel Report and investigate security incidents specific to their assigned program and recommend mitigations to the Facilities Security Officer. Develops, implements and administers an Operational Security program, security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations Assist the Facilities Security Officer in managing semi-annual alarm/guard response testing, physical security checks and onsite tasks as needed. Maintain cleared/uncleared visitor logs and perform entry and exit inspections Provide employees with personnel security guidance as mandated by SEAD 3 reporting requirements and assist with managing new employee clearance requests and updates REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma and five years of industrial security-related experience Exceptional time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to achieve goals and targets while handling multiple tasks Experience with conducting security briefings, debriefings and have the ability to clearly explain security processes and procedures Experience implementing multiple security disciplines to include Personnel, Physical, Communications and Operations Security programs and requirements Ability to communicate and interact professionally and courteously both orally and in writing with all levels of employees, management and customers Reliable attendance and punctuality. Job Description:

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for safeguarding properties, deterring criminal activity, and ensuring the safety of businesses, construction sites, and residential communities, etc. Your role requires vigilance, strong decision-making, and excellent communication skills to handle security incidents effectively.

Compensation:

$21.00 per hour

Security Guard Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine patrols to monitor and secure designated locations.
  • Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and unauthorized access.
  • Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and ensure public safety.
  • Respond swiftly to incidents and provide support in emergency situations.
  • Document daily activity, incidents, and observations accurately in reports.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding security updates and concerns.

Security Guard Qualifications:

  • Valid BSIS Guard Card (required).
  • Clean driving record and ability to operate company/site vehicles safely.
  • Experience working graveyard shifts.
  • Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to remain alert, responsive, and proactive in high-pressure situations.
