Position Summary: The Security Supervisor is responsible for the daily oversight of the agency's physical security operations, as well as the protection of CCSN personnel, property, and any visitors to the property. Essential Responsibilities: Read, understand, implement, and enforce company policies and procedures as established by Human Resources. Monitoring all in-take procedures for the overnight shelter, to ensure that proper procedural steps are being followed as established. Responsible for responding to all assistance calls and making on scene decisions in the best interest of the organization. Supervises security staffing to ensure posts are being properly maintained, managed, and all security staff are representing the organization in a professional and respectful manner. Responsible for apprising CCSN management members of any and all serious incidents that occur on the campus. Will execute all directives given by the Security Director, Assistant Directors, and Department Manager in a respectful and diligent manner. Responsible for assisting and conducting investigations of misdoings and damages to agency personnel, property, and all clients who may reside or visit the CCSN campus. Will protect all confidential information, company property and electronic data. Will ensure that all company "Safety" procedures are being adhered to. Responsible for ensuring that scheduled staff are properly posted, for thorough security coverage for the property. When positioned in the overnight shelter they are responsible for the safety and security of all clients and staff within the shelter area. Use communication skills to defuse confrontational situations (Verbal Judo), resorting to physical restrain only as a last resort. All other duties as required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to actively listen, by giving full attention to what people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking appropriate questions, and respectfully not interrupting as information is being conveyed. Ability to comprehend and execute basic instructions. Basic proficiency in computers and software including Word, Outlook, and Excel. Ability to utilize critical thinking with the use of logic, in an effort to come to reasonable conclusions and alternatives in problem situations. Ability to verbally convey information effectively. Possess sound judgement and ability to work autonomously. Ability to record information and transfer to a basic written report. Possess excellent oral and written communication skills and leadership skills. Prioritize work and meet necessary deadlines. Qualifications: High School diploma/GED/plus a minimum of 2 years security experience is preferred. Experience working with and assisting Homeless clients. Proficient in Customer Service and detail oriented. Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid Nevada Identification or Driver's License. Flexible schedule to work after hours and weekends, as necessary. Honesty, Integrity, and Trustworthiness is essential. Basic- EMT Certificate preferred Certified Security Supervision and Management (CSSM) preferred Physical Requirements Ability to remain alert and effective during the entire shift in a 24/7 environment that includes internal and external patrols in all weather conditions. Ability to verbally communicate with clients, co-workers, and visitors to the campus. Ability to operate and use office equipment, especially computer, keyboard and mouse. Ability to continuously sit and/or stand. Ability to climb stairs as needed. May occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Position Summary The Security Installation Technician III / Site Lead is responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of structured cabling, access control, and surveillance systems, while overseeing project performance and coordinating local subcontractors. You'll lead field operations at Naval installations in Oahu, HI and Virginia Beach, VA, ensuring project delivery meets DoD standards and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Install, test, and maintain security and surveillance systems, including access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV. Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and functional testing of security systems and network components. Install and terminate copper and fiber data communications cabling. Set up and program security, access control, audio-visual, and CCTV network systems. Create accurate documentation, drawings, and reports. Supervise and support subcontractors and junior technicians. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current insurance. Ability to pass a drug screen and background check. Preferred Qualifications Additional vendor or OSHA safety certifications. Strong understanding of communications networks and system integration. Prior experience working with federal or DoD agencies. Military background is highly valued. Position Summary:

The Security Supervisor is responsible for the daily oversight of the agency's physical security operations, as well as the protection of CCSN personnel, property, and any visitors to the property.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Read, understand, implement, and enforce company policies and procedures as established by Human Resources.
  • Monitoring all in-take procedures for the overnight shelter, to ensure that proper procedural steps are being followed as established.
  • Responsible for responding to all assistance calls and making on scene decisions in the best interest of the organization.
  • Supervises security staffing to ensure posts are being properly maintained, managed, and all security staff are representing the organization in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Responsible for apprising CCSN management members of any and all serious incidents that occur on the campus.
  • Will execute all directives given by the Security Director, Assistant Directors, and Department Manager in a respectful and diligent manner.
  • Responsible for assisting and conducting investigations of misdoings and damages to agency personnel, property, and all clients who may reside or visit the CCSN campus.
  • Will protect all confidential information, company property and electronic data.
  • Will ensure that all company "Safety" procedures are being adhered to.
  • Responsible for ensuring that scheduled staff are properly posted, for thorough security coverage for the property.
  • When positioned in the overnight shelter they are responsible for the safety and security of all clients and staff within the shelter area.
  • Use communication skills to defuse confrontational situations (Verbal Judo), resorting to physical restrain only as a last resort.
  • All other duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to actively listen, by giving full attention to what people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking appropriate questions, and respectfully not interrupting as information is being conveyed.
  • Ability to comprehend and execute basic instructions.
  • Basic proficiency in computers and software including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Ability to utilize critical thinking with the use of logic, in an effort to come to reasonable conclusions and alternatives in problem situations.
  • Ability to verbally convey information effectively.
  • Possess sound judgement and ability to work autonomously.
  • Ability to record information and transfer to a basic written report.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills and leadership skills.
  • Prioritize work and meet necessary deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma/GED/plus a minimum of 2 years security experience is preferred.
  • Experience working with and assisting Homeless clients.
  • Proficient in Customer Service and detail oriented.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid Nevada Identification or Driver's License.
  • Flexible schedule to work after hours and weekends, as necessary.
  • Honesty, Integrity, and Trustworthiness is essential.
  • Basic- EMT Certificate preferred
  • Certified Security Supervision and Management (CSSM) preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to remain alert and effective during the entire shift in a 24/7 environment that includes internal and external patrols in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to verbally communicate with clients, co-workers, and visitors to the campus.
  • Ability to operate and use office equipment, especially computer, keyboard and mouse.
  • Ability to continuously sit and/or stand. Ability to climb stairs as needed.
  • May occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

This position pays $20.00 per hour and weekends and holidays are included in the schedule.
