CAMBA, Inc. is the on-site services provider at Austin 147. Forty apartments, 50% of the units in the building, will be master leased by CAMBA and will house Population A chronically homeless single adults who are diagnosed with SPMI (seriously and persistently mentally ill) or MICA (mentally III and chemically addicted), couples that qualify and chronically homeless families. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform daily inspections of all clients’ rooms Escort clients to appointments as needed Interact with and monitor client’s behavior and maintain good rapport by providing excellent customer service.  Encourage clients to comply with facility policy and procedures. Control access at the main entrance by screening all clients, and visitors, utilizing magnetometer / x-ray machine to detect and prevent weapons from entering the site.   Perform Crisis Intervene to de-escalate potential crisis situations and document all such situations and interventions. Make hourly rounds throughout entire facility including all hallways, stairwells, floors, bathrooms, laundry rooms, kitchen, and office spaces. Respond to incidents Assist with client intakes Perform daily pack ups and logging of client property belonging to AWOL clients Store and remove client property once the mandated storage time have expired Maintain a clean and organized storage area Complete logs, incident reports and all other required documentation. Make calls to police, fire department and other first responders as directed. Perform administrative and receptionist duties at the operations desk; monitor video surveillance cameras, and fire prevention / detection alarm notification system. Provide duties related to fire incident, evacuation of the building when necessary, utilizing Fire procedure. Ensure the safety and security of all assigned equipment. Perform other tasks as assigned. EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED and prior security experience required. Must have NYS Security Guard License, current 8 Hour Annual Certificate. Fire Guard License for Shelters (F-02).  Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary. Certified in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) preferred. Must be able to work flexible shifts, weekends and overtime if necessary. Job Description

MProtective LLC, is licensed, bonded and insured as a provider of security guards and weapons screening services. We serve a range of clients throughout the area and we’re seeking self-motivated individuals who currently reside in Central Pennsylvania to join our team.We are currently hiring immediately for multiple locations:
  1. School Security Officers (Armed) - FT
Responsibilities:
  • Patrolling interior and exterior parts of school and grounds
  • Enforcing parking regulations
  • Responding and assisting employees and visitors with Safety concerns
  • Responding to calls from staff for emergency assistance, e.g. suspicious persons or vehicles inside and outside property
  • Communicating with and acting as a liaison with local fire, ambulance, and police departments
  • Maintaining visitor logs of those who come onsite
  • Completing detailed incident reports and conducting follow-up investigations
  • Exhibiting positive relations towards students and faculty when responding to questions and communications
Expected hours: 40 per week with additional compensation for Day/Evening / Weekend shifts. Your hours correlate to a normal school day with some after hour school events.
  1. Armed Security Officers for Healthcare – FT 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 based schedule and PT as needed.Responsibilities:
  • Patrol assigned areas, monitoring the facility and activity to provide a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors and staff
  • Respond to requests for Security to resolve emergency situations, investigate suspicious activity, de-escalate volatile situations and take appropriate action 
  • Remaining alert for fire and/or safety hazards
  • Investigate, document and resolve security related incidents
  • Providing a safe and secure environment for patients, employees, and visitors.
Expected hours: A flexible 40-hour workweek with Day / Evening / Night / Weekend shifts available.Candidates with extensive experience and unique skills are offered compensation above the market average to reflect their added value. Qualifications
  • A thorough background check will be conducted including a drug screen.
  • Current Act 235 (lethal) Certification as well as Act 67 certification preferred.
  • Candidates must possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate both orally and in writing, handle several tasks simultaneously and remain composed in emergency situations and diffuse potential combative situations,
  • High level of integrity required for handling sensitive/confidential information.
  • Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated to perform all aspects of the job at all times.
  • Complete incident reports and document daily activities on a log.
  • Excellent conflict resolution and interpersonal skills.
  •  A valid driver's license
  • Excellent physical condition, including full mobility, is required.
  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to handle typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively.
