Responsibilities Working across teams with other engineers and architects from DevOps, Networking and various application teams to securely deploy and manage our physical and virtual firewalls in our private and public clouds. Be responsible for peering, routing and segmenting our core computing infrastructure to optimize network performance and promote minimum necessary design. Stay current on industry trends including new attack vectors, zero-day vulnerability releases and recommend and deploy patches to address vulnerabilities Guide and mentor other members of the security team Lead network security design for public clouds utilizing automation and infrastructure as code to support our expansion while maintaining our segmentation strategy and layered security approach. Develop deployment standards and guidelines for other teams to follow Ensuring that monitoring and reporting is configured for security infrastructure to alert to anomalies and system outage events and that appropriate system capacities are maintained Maintaining accurate documentation and diagrams of our systems and designs Evaluate new security technologies to better improve efficiencies, security posture and meet business objectives Provide hands on Tier III triage during major incident events What will set you apart: Hands on experience deploying firewalls and infrastructure using Gitlab and Terraform. Advanced skills with supporting firewall and application delivery technology from vendors such as Palo Alto, VMWare, Citrix, AWS and Azure. Experience with full stack support for secure application delivery Healthcare related experience working with HIPAA, SOX and NIST frameworks Proven track record of designing zero trust architecture, perimeter security and minimizing internet attack surface. Position Summary The Environmental Health, Safety & Security Leader works closely with DC Leadership to reduce risk, prevent injuries to employees and contractors, protect people, property, and assets while minimizing impact to the business. Architect and implement FW designs focusing on ensuring optimal performance and resource reuse between the products. Create detailed documentation for FW designs, and integration processes. Maintain version-controlled documentation to facilitate collaboration and knowledge transfer. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in wireless field. Explore and recommend new tools, methodologies, and techniques to enhance FW development processes. Required Skills & Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in FW design, with a specific emphasis for wireless applications. Relevant project experience in Firmware/Software architecture, design and implementations with a specific emphasis for wireless applications and radio products. Proven track record of successful implementation FW code for wireless applications, preferably for ORAN radio products. Experience with Embedded System Security principles and techniques, security by design and OS hardening Experience with secure boot, firmware & software integrity, OTA updates, and hardware-backed device attestation technologies. Experience working with security protocols, particularly in telecom environments, focusing on protocols like IEEE 802.1X , MACSec, and PKI-based authentication. Responsibilities

  • Working across teams with other engineers and architects from DevOps, Networking and various application teams to securely deploy and manage our physical and virtual firewalls in our private and public clouds.
  • Be responsible for peering, routing and segmenting our core computing infrastructure to optimize network performance and promote minimum necessary design.
  • Stay current on industry trends including new attack vectors, zero-day vulnerability releases and recommend and deploy patches to address vulnerabilities
  • Guide and mentor other members of the security team
  • Lead network security design for public clouds utilizing automation and infrastructure as code to support our expansion while maintaining our segmentation strategy and layered security approach.
  • Develop deployment standards and guidelines for other teams to follow
  • Ensuring that monitoring and reporting is configured for security infrastructure to alert to anomalies and system outage events and that appropriate system capacities are maintained
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and diagrams of our systems and designs
  • Evaluate new security technologies to better improve efficiencies, security posture and meet business objectives
  • Provide hands on Tier III triage during major incident events
  • What will set you apart:
  • Hands on experience deploying firewalls and infrastructure using Gitlab and Terraform.
  • Advanced skills with supporting firewall and application delivery technology from vendors such as Palo Alto, VMWare, Citrix, AWS and Azure.
  • Experience with full stack support for secure application delivery
  • Healthcare related experience working with HIPAA, SOX and NIST frameworks

Qualifications
