What you’ll do As Niron’s IT Security Manager , you will lead the design, implementation, and oversight of cybersecurity and physical security programs that protect our data, systems, tools, and facilities. This role is critical for ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and safeguarding operational technology (OT), information technology (IT) environments, and physical access in a high-growth, advanced manufacturing setting. You will collaborate across IT, OT, Facilities, and other parts of the business to implement security tools, processes, and policies. You will monitor systems and respond to incidents. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Cybersecurity Governance & Compliance Develop, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide security policies, standards, and procedures. Ensure compliance with frameworks such as NIST 800-171, ISO 27001, CMMC, and ITAR. Oversee internal and external penetration testing and vulnerability assessments. Risk Management & Incident Response Lead threat detection, response, and remediation programs. Coordinate external vendor security operations center (SOC) activities and incident escalation. Technical Security Oversight Coordinate with vendor and Niron team members on the administration and optimization of security tools (SIEM, EDR, firewalls). Partner with Niron team members, ensure secure cloud environments (Azure, M365) and OT systems. Implement identity and access management (IAM) and zero-trust principles. Physical Security Oversight Partner with vendors to manage and maintain electronic access control systems (door badge systems). Work with vendors to oversee video surveillance systems and ensure proper monitoring and retention. Collaborate with Facilities to enforce physical security policies and procedures. Experience with Avigilon or similar physical security management systems is a strong plus. Training & Awareness Administer security awareness programs for employees. Maintain documentation for security processes and compliance audits. Vendor & Partner Management Manage relationships with external vendors and auditors. Evaluate and onboard new security technologies and services. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field. 7+ years of experience in IT security roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls) and regulatory compliance (CMMC, ITAR, GDPR). Hands-on experience with network security, cloud security, OT security, and physical security systems. Essential Functions: PATROL, SECURE AND PROVIDE SAFETY: Assist in managing overall building safety at all times (before, after and/or during events). What you’ll do

As Niron’s ITSecurity Manager, you will lead the design, implementation, and oversight of cybersecurity and physical security programs that protect our data, systems, tools, and facilities. This role is critical for ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and safeguarding operational technology (OT), information technology (IT) environments, and physical access in a high-growth, advanced manufacturing setting.

You will collaborate across IT, OT, Facilities, and other parts of the business to implement security tools, processes, and policies. You will monitor systems and respond to incidents. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Cybersecurity Governance & Compliance
    • Develop, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide security policies, standards, and procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with frameworks such as NIST 800-171, ISO 27001, CMMC, and ITAR.
    • Oversee internal and external penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
  • Risk Management & Incident Response
    • Lead threat detection, response, and remediation programs.
    • Coordinate external vendor security operations center (SOC) activities and incident escalation.
    • Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits.
  • Technical Security Oversight
    • Coordinate with vendor and Niron team members on the administration and optimization of security tools (SIEM, EDR, firewalls).
    • Partner with Niron team members, ensure secure cloud environments (Azure, M365) and OT systems.
    • Implement identity and access management (IAM) and zero-trust principles.
  • Physical Security Oversight
    • Partner with vendors to manage and maintain electronic access control systems (door badge systems).
    • Work with vendors to oversee video surveillance systems and ensure proper monitoring and retention.
    • Collaborate with Facilities to enforce physical security policies and procedures.
    • Experience with Avigilon or similar physical security management systems is a strong plus.
  • Training & Awareness
    • Administer security awareness programs for employees.
    • Maintain documentation for security processes and compliance audits.
  • Vendor & Partner Management
    • Manage relationships with external vendors and auditors.
    • Evaluate and onboard new security technologies and services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in IT security roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls) and regulatory compliance (CMMC, ITAR, GDPR).
  • Hands-on experience with network security, cloud security, OT security, and physical security systems.
  • Familiarity with electronic access control and video surveillance systems; Avigilon experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
