About the Role

Please note that this is a 24/7 on-site team. You will be required to commit to rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure continuous operational coverage.

We are seeking a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Operator to join our team in Livingston, NJ. This critical 24/7/365 role serves as the frontline defense safeguarding CoreWeave’s mission-critical infrastructure, located within partner data centers. GSOCs are expected to masterfully monitor advanced security systems, manage complex physical and global access control processes, including biometric verification, swiftly respond to diverse security incidents, and serve as critical communication hubs between internal and external stakeholders, including coordination with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. Your responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Proactive continuous monitoring, maintenance, operation, and systematic checks of Genetec Security Center, high-definition CCTV systems, various sophisticated access control and detection systems, environmental sensors, and integrated PSIM systems
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all security-related incidents, swiftly assessing, triaging, and responding to emergencies, including unauthorized access, safety threats, and medical or fire events
  • Enforce access control procedures, maintaining detailed records while managing biometric enrollments, identity authentication, secure access approvals, and security escort oversight
  • Coordinate emergency response using DHS ICS principles while serving as a central communications hub, delivering clear, timely updates across CoreWeave teams, partners, security personnel, clients, and law enforcement via phone, Slack, Teams, email, and radio
  • Maintain accurate incident documentation and shift logs using Jira and FreshService, and produce clear, timely reports for stakeholders, clients, and responding agencies.
  • Manage and track work order requests, ensuring timely and high-quality completion of maintenance tasks within CoreWeave data halls
  • Conduct detailed shift handovers to ensure continuous situational awareness and operational readiness throughout each shift

Who You Are:

  • 2+ years of experience in high-level GSOC/PSOC environments within global data centers, technology hubs, critical infrastructure, or related environments
  • Working knowledge of Genetec Security Center, biometric access control systems, PSIM integration, high-definition CCTV, alarm, or related systems
  • Proficiency with multi-channel communication systems, and thorough understanding of fire/life safety and security monitoring protocols
  • Experience with incident management platforms (Jira, FreshService)
  • Demonstrated experience in rapid assessment, threat identification, prioritization, and decisive incident management under high-stress scenarios
  • Experience in maintaining extended periods of sustained vigilance and monitoring with manual dexterity to manage multiple systems simultaneously
  • Experience with accurately assessing security camera feeds and monitoring system alerts
  • Experience in communicating clearly and effectively under high-pressure situations while maintaining ethical standards in handling sensitive, confidential information

Preferred: 

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Information Technology, or equivalent industry experience
  • DHS Incident Command System (ICS) training (IS-100, IS-200), Genetec certification, ASIS PSP, CPP, or related security certifications and training
  • Experience within data center environments and familiarity with industry-leading security practices.
  • Familiarity with advanced key management and asset control systems (Deister).

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay and target total cash for this position range from $65,000 to $80,000 and $71,500 to $88,000, accordingly. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position includes a discretionary bonus, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package.
