RESPONSIBILITY:  Monitor and maintain an unobstructed view of the construction area, where you can effectively control entry and monitor all personnel. Ensure verification and issuance of client- required identification; Oversee mail and package deliveries for construction site Discover security violations and early reporting of emergencies; provides directions and informational assistance to employees, visitors, and guests. Works from a fixed post and/or conducts roving patrols of facilities, grounds, parking lots, garages, and outbuildings, etc. Remains alert to security risks and exposures and reports security, medical or other incidents requiring a public safety response. Conducts general observation for fire or other hazardous conditions. Monitors intrusion detection, personal security devices, CCTV, and fire and water pressure systems; screens employees, guests and visitors entering assigned area; controls, issues and records visitor passes; maintains duty logs, and records visitor ingress and egress. Prepares written reports detailing security-related activity and incidents and reports directly to the first-line supervisor; testifies in administrative hearings and civil and criminal proceedings. Help with writing reports on all accidents or potential problems that occur, as well as notifying the Security management team. Issue temporary access badges to authorized personnel as required by procedures. Escort visitors and other personnel as required by procedures. Inspect packages and other designated items as required (including assignment as a searcher). Conduct foot patrol and Stadium security checks. Assist with inspecting bags and purses at all entry points for prohibited items, as well as operate a walk-through metal detector (WTMD) or Evolv machine. Be observant for trespassers and unauthorized persons. Operate and monitor CCTV and access control systems where required. Initiate appropriate response as required for various alarms.
