About the Role: As a Security Officer, you'll be an essential part of our Facility Management team, contributing to the safety and security at our client site located in Maplewood, MN. We are looking for an experienced, part-time Security Officer to work the overnight shift. Your role will focus on implementing and maintaining security protocols to ensure a safe environment for all occupants and visitors. Schedule- Part-time 2-3 days a week, 8 hour shifts Key Responsibilities: Perform campus patrols utilizing a client provided security vehicle Implement and follow established Security Policies and Procedures Contribute to the preparation of security reports Participate in regular training sessions on security and emergency procedures Report and document security incidents Respond to emergency situations following established protocols Participate in mock drills for various emergency scenarios Operate security and safety systems (CCTV, access control, fire detection, etc.) Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and visitors Additional Details: A proprietary radio may be issued to be used to communicate with the client proprietary security officers and the dispatch center. All officers must drive at the posted speed limit, adhere to all directional signage on the campus. The officer will physically observe activity and verify that employees and property are safe. The officer will actively drive through property parking lots and non-access-controlled ramps and immediately report situations that appear unusual, suspicious or could cause business to be interrupted. The officer will use the issued radio or a mobile device, if applicable, to immediately report any of the above situations to propriety security team and take direction from the security officer. 3M will document actions and situations using the proprietary reporting system. About the Role:

As a Security Officer, you'll be an essential part of our Facility Management team, contributing to the safety and security at our client site located in Maplewood, MN. We are looking for an experienced, part-time Security Officer to work the overnight shift. Your role will focus on implementing and maintaining security protocols to ensure a safe environment for all occupants and visitors.

Schedule- Part-time 2-3 days a week, 8 hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform campus patrols utilizing a client provided security vehicle
  • Implement and follow established Security Policies and Procedures
  • Contribute to the preparation of security reports
  • Participate in regular training sessions on security and emergency procedures
  • Report and document security incidents
  • Respond to emergency situations following established protocols
  • Participate in mock drills for various emergency scenarios
  • Operate security and safety systems (CCTV, access control, fire detection, etc.)
  • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and visitors

Additional Details:

A proprietary radio may be issued to be used to communicate with the client proprietary security officers and the dispatch center. All officers must drive at the posted speed limit, adhere to all directional signage on the campus. The officer will physically observe activity and verify that employees and property are safe. The officer will actively drive through property parking lots and non-access-controlled ramps and immediately report situations that appear unusual, suspicious or could cause business to be interrupted. The officer will use the issued radio or a mobile device, if applicable, to immediately report any of the above situations to propriety security team and take direction from the security officer. 3M will document actions and situations using the proprietary reporting system.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

25,000.00 - 27,000.00 USD per year
