Position Summary HCRC is seeking a Security Support Specialist to provide comprehensive security, access control, visitor management, and classified space oversight in support of a Federal client. This position requires a strong understanding of Army regulations governing physical, personnel, information, operations, and antiterrorism security, as well as proven communication and customer service skills. Key Responsibilities Security and Access Control Perform, prepare, and process security support actions. Greet, verify credentials, and screen visitors entering government facilities. Issue and collect visitor badges while maintaining visitor logs, badge inventories, and access records. Register personnel in the Access Control/Security System, assign access permissions, and generate visitor passes. Monitor entry/exit points, surveillance systems, and digital video equipment. Conduct safety walk-throughs, assist with inspections, and support emergency drills/evacuations. Oversee key control operations, ensuring accountability, distribution, and reporting. Identify and troubleshoot access control system failures, submit service requests, and coordinate with technicians. Maintain and update access control SOPs, desk manuals, personnel rosters, and seating charts. Classified Space & Personnel Security (Clearance Required) Manage classified space operations, including safe combination changes and SF700 maintenance. Conduct daily security checks (SF701/SF702) and validate clearance levels before granting classified access. Access and utilize the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) to verify personnel investigations and eligibility. Submit and track Visit Authorization Requests (VARs) for classified access. Serve as Secure Web Fingerprint Transmission (SWFT) administrator; conduct electronic fingerprinting for personnel. Collaborate with Program Security Officers (PSOs) and employees to initiate and track investigations in the Personnel Security Investigation Portal (PSIP). Review and validate onboarding documentation (OF306, PSIP forms, proof of citizenship, fingerprint confirmation). Track completion of EQIP forms and monitor investigation progress in DISS. Record and maintain foreign travel reporting requirements within DISS. Administrative Support & Reporting Assist with personnel in-processing and out-processing. Support organizational events, including setup, execution, and teardown. Perform Common Access Card (CAC) PIN resets as required. Review and update security-related documentation, plans, and training reports. Track training compliance and generate monthly completion reports. Perform other administrative and security-related duties as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Comprehensive knowledge of Army Regulations relating to: Physical Security Operations Security (OPSEC) Antiterrorism Information Security Personnel Security Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with access control and surveillance systems. Ability to troubleshoot basic access control/security system issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong customer service orientation with attention to detail and accountability in sensitive operations. Minimum Qualifications Active DoD Security Clearance (Secret or higher, depending on position requirements). Experience supporting security operations in a DoD environment. The remaining 40 units are occupied by community residents, who may require some services Position: FT Security Guard Reports To: Assistant Program Manager Location: 880 East 147 th Street Bronx, NY 10455 What The FT Security Guard Does: Monitor and ensure the security and fire safety of the entire facility. Employ crisis prevention/intervention and crisis management skills when conflict occurs. Patrol buildings and grounds of facilities where CAMBA programs are located. Examine doors, windows, gates and all fire exits to determine that they are secure and in accordance with all fire regulations. Observe and report irregularities such as unusual tenant behavior, trespassers, fire hazards, leaking water pipes, and security doors left unlocked. Position Summary
HCRC is seeking a Security Support Specialist to provide comprehensive security, access control, visitor management, and classified space oversight in support of a Federal client. This position requires a strong understanding of Army regulations governing physical, personnel, information, operations, and antiterrorism security, as well as proven communication and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities
Security and Access Control

  • Perform, prepare, and process security support actions.
  • Greet, verify credentials, and screen visitors entering government facilities.
  • Issue and collect visitor badges while maintaining visitor logs, badge inventories, and access records.
  • Register personnel in the Access Control/Security System, assign access permissions, and generate visitor passes.
  • Monitor entry/exit points, surveillance systems, and digital video equipment.
  • Conduct safety walk-throughs, assist with inspections, and support emergency drills/evacuations.
  • Oversee key control operations, ensuring accountability, distribution, and reporting.
  • Identify and troubleshoot access control system failures, submit service requests, and coordinate with technicians.
  • Maintain and update access control SOPs, desk manuals, personnel rosters, and seating charts.
Classified Space & Personnel Security (Clearance Required)
  • Manage classified space operations, including safe combination changes and SF700 maintenance.
  • Conduct daily security checks (SF701/SF702) and validate clearance levels before granting classified access.
  • Access and utilize the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) to verify personnel investigations and eligibility.
  • Submit and track Visit Authorization Requests (VARs) for classified access.
  • Serve as Secure Web Fingerprint Transmission (SWFT) administrator; conduct electronic fingerprinting for personnel.
  • Collaborate with Program Security Officers (PSOs) and employees to initiate and track investigations in the Personnel Security Investigation Portal (PSIP).
  • Review and validate onboarding documentation (OF306, PSIP forms, proof of citizenship, fingerprint confirmation).
  • Track completion of EQIP forms and monitor investigation progress in DISS.
  • Record and maintain foreign travel reporting requirements within DISS.
Administrative Support & Reporting
  • Assist with personnel in-processing and out-processing.
  • Support organizational events, including setup, execution, and teardown.
  • Perform Common Access Card (CAC) PIN resets as required.
  • Review and update security-related documentation, plans, and training reports.
  • Track training compliance and generate monthly completion reports.
  • Perform other administrative and security-related duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Army Regulations relating to:
    • Physical Security
    • Operations Security (OPSEC)
    • Antiterrorism
    • Information Security
    • Personnel Security
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with access control and surveillance systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic access control/security system issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with attention to detail and accountability in sensitive operations.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Active DoD Security Clearance (Secret or higher, depending on position requirements).
  • Experience supporting security operations in a DoD environment.
  • Familiarity with DISS, PSIP, EQIP, and SWFT.
  • Ability to perform classified space security functions.
  • Prior experience in administrative support, visitor control, or building security highly desired.
