Processes sales of ID badges and accessories, parking and transit permits, parking validations, bicycle permits, and background checks. Assists customers with replacing broken/lost access and transit cards. Answers phone calls greeting students, faculty and staff and addressing and resolving issues through appropriate channels. Adheres to proper telephone etiquette and use of call center software. Monitors and responds to email inquiries received through two departmental email accounts, one for Parking and another one for Photo ID. Assists customers with scheduling UM Transportation Department shuttles. Processes and distributes daily reports including parking, transit, and access reports. Reconciles daily credit card, check, IDR, payroll deduction and student account sales. Files and scans department records. Programs and troubleshoots ID badges and access cards for campus locking systems. Processes employment clearances Logs customer interaction notes in database. Processes metal key requests and distribution to authorized individuals. Maintains office inventory. Works at the Emergency Hotline call center before, during, and/or after emergencies, including, but not limited to hurricanes. Vulnerability Research & Exploitation Develop and implement custom fuzzing frameworks targeting embedded systems. Conduct taint analysis to trace data flow and isolate security-critical functions. Discover, document, and demonstrate vulnerabilities, providing clear remediation strategies. Emulation & Testing Utilize QEMU or similar emulation platforms to recreate hardware environments for testing and analysis. Integrate emulated targets into CI/CD pipelines for continuous vulnerability scanning. Automation & Tooling Create specialized scripts and tools to streamline firmware extraction, binary analysis, and fuzzing processes. Automate complex testing routines to optimize security assessment workflows. Cross-Team Collaboration Work closely with hardware, software, and broader security teams to share findings, guide secure development practices, and implement fixes. Collaborate with automotive specialists to adapt research methods for vehicle control units (ECUs) and other automotive platforms. Research & Knowledge Sharing Keep abreast of emerging trends and techniques in embedded security, sharing insights with the team. Our expert team of physicians and staff will represent a wide range of specialties, including NCI-designated Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, the number one eye hospital in the nation. UHealth at SoLé Mia will also deliver the latest in urologic treatments from the renowned Desai Sethi Urology Institute as well as top-notch care from UHealth's nationally ranked neurology and neurosurgery programs.

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS

Assists customers with Photo ID badges, building access, parking, and public transportation. Processes sales of ID badges and accessories, parking and transit permits, parking validations, bicycle permits, and background checks. Assists customers with replacing broken/lost access and transit cards. Answers phone calls greeting students, faculty and staff and addressing and resolving issues through appropriate channels. Adheres to proper telephone etiquette and use of call center software. Monitors and responds to email inquiries received through two departmental email accounts, one for Parking and another one for Photo ID. Assists customers with scheduling UM Transportation Department shuttles. Processes and distributes daily reports including parking, transit, and access reports. Reconciles daily credit card, check, IDR, payroll deduction and student account sales. Files and scans department records. Programs and troubleshoots ID badges and access cards for campus locking systems. Processes employment clearances Logs customer interaction notes in database. Processes metal key requests and distribution to authorized individuals. Maintains office inventory. Works at the Emergency Hotline call center before, during, and/or after emergencies, including, but not limited to hurricanes. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
