The Environmental Health, Safety & Security Specialist is an individual contributor role that works closely with DC Leadership to reduce risk, prevent injuries to employees and contractors, protect people, property, and assets while minimizing impact to the business. Ensures compliance to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, and conformance to McKesson EHS & Global Security performance and accountability standards. Coordinates with other departments to integrate safety and security into all aspects of operations. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary liaison between the site and the Global Security & Safety team to ensure alignment with overall organizational standards and protocols. Provide guidance and oversight to ensure compliance to all applicable McKesson Global Security & Safety (GSS) policies/procedures/SOPs at site level. Lead initiatives to implement and enforce environmental, health, safety, and security protocols to ensure that the DC operations exceed standards. Develop comprehensive risk assessments and mitigation plans based on safety and security metric analysis, hazard recognition, observation data and incident tracking to prevent accidents or incidents. Measure site’s Safety Performance Index experience against published requirements to develop an action plan to address deficiencies. Drive safety and security culture at site level through frequent site audits to identify all non-compliance with site equipment, physical security or GSS programs. Implement solutions to mitigate the risk to people, property, and assets by leading the site safety & security committee. Serve as site Ergonomics Champion. Design, implement and track progress to site specific Safety Action Plan and the post-audit Security Action Plan. Responsible for leading and ensuring compliance with physical and electronic security systems and programs. Lead safety and security program training for the site, including but not limited to, conducting new people leader training, and assisting with New Employee onboarding and Powered Industrial Truck training. Monitor training completion rates at site level and follow-up to ensure completion. Implement new/updated training as . Proactively engage with environmental, health, safety and security initiatives while appropriately escalating and troubleshooting to drive effective implementation. Attend and engage in Leadership meetings to include site, region and division-level safety and security calls. Partner with Risk Management team on site claims management and Return to Work processes. Lead environmental compliance related to Hazardous & Regulated Waste (HRW) management, HazMat shipping, SPCC plans, fire code compliance and air permitting. Support DSCSA & Quality research process into loss or suspected theft of product in coordination with site’s Operations & Global Security teams. Liaison with local emergency management groups ( i.e. Local Law Enforcement, Fire Department, LEPC, CUPA, etc.) Shift Hours: 8 am - 4:30, with flexibility to include nights and weekends Minimum Requirement Degree or equivalent and 4+ years of relevant experience. Critical Skills Experience monitoring and managing compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, DOT, FDA, DEA). K nowledge of, or experience working with, physical & electronic security equipment such as video, access control, and alarm systems. Must have incident investigation and prevention process experience, including demonstrated ability to uncover true root causes of incidents through a prescribed Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis process. Intermediate computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other web-based applications, and an ability to use and operate technology programs related to electronic security systems. Strong project management and analytical skills, with high levels of attention to detail and accuracy; effective at applying strategic and analytical thinking to deliver business insights; able to identify trends and patterns that contribute to improved processes. Additional Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely while influencing others across all levels of the organization. We are seeking a highly skilled and hard-working Data Center System Security Test Engineer to join our Data Center System Security Team. What You’ll Be Doing: As a Security Test Engineer at NVIDIA, you will be a key technical leader driving quality and reliability across our next-generation Data Center Systems. Your work will directly impact NVIDIA's ability to deliver robust, secure, and high-performing solutions for AI, HPC, and cloud-scale systems. Define End-to-End Security Test Strategy: Own and drive the pre-QA system-level test architecture and validation strategy for security across multiple NVIDIA platforms. Develop test plans aligned with customer use cases. Architect Scalable Security Test Infrastructure: Design and implement modular, reusable test frameworks and automation harnesses that support security feature testing. Ensure test infrastructure scales efficiently across multiple systems in parallel. Execute Automated Security Test Plans: Using the scalable automated test infrastructure, implement regular platform-level security test plans focused on validating core security features and functionality. Drive Root Cause Analysis and Debugging: Lead complex issue investigations that span firmware, software, and hardware layers. Develop and document debug methodologies and tools to improve diagnosis efficiency across the team. Engage with Engineering Teams across Functions: Work closely with firmware developers, hardware architects, silicon validation, platform QA, and system software teams to ensure comprehensive security test coverage. Influence early design decisions to optimize testability and automation readiness. Own Security Quality Metrics: Define security quality KPIs such as code coverage, bug escape rate, and validation completeness. Establish dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track progress and drive data-driven decision-making. Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to enhance test automation pipelines, integrate continuous testing into nightly and pre-merge workflows, and ensure fast and reliable release qualification. Enable Productization and Customer Readiness: Validate real-world use cases, customer configurations, and production scenarios. Contribute to release gates and sign-off criteria to ensure security features are ready for deployment in systems critical to the mission. Mentor, Lead, Explore, and Adopt Emerging Technologies: Foster a culture of quality, innovation, and continuous learning across the organization. Stay up to date on trends in embedded validation, test automation frameworks, and industry standards. Champion the adoption of new tools, methodologies, and best practices to raise the quality bar. Boost Team Efficiency with AI: Demonstrate proven experience using AI-powered tools and copilots to accelerate test development, automate repetitive validation workflows, and streamline debug and root cause analysis. What we need to see: B.S./M.S./PHD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience in software/firmware security testing, with a focus on embedded or low-level systems Strong knowledge of system architecture, boot processes, SoCs, I2C/SPI/PCIe interfaces, and embedded controllers. Proven experience designing test frameworks and infrastructure in Python, C/C++, or similar languages. Hands-on experience with server platforms and debugging. Experience with lab automation, HW-in-the-loop testing, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab). Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills; experience working in a globally distributed team is a plus. Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd: Experience with NVIDIA platforms (e.g., DGX, HGX, Grace Blackwell systems). Exposure to security validation and test focused on features like Attestation and Secure Update Strong understanding of modern data center security features such as Attestation, Secure Boot/Update, and Recovery Prior experience with OpenBMC Test Automation. Prior role as a test architect or technical lead for large-scale firmware or embedded validation programs. Contributions to open-source testing tools or frameworks with strong knowledge of cloud-scale validation, infrastructure automation, or virtualization. The Environmental Health, Safety & Security Specialist is an individual contributor role that works closely with DC Leadership to reduce risk, prevent injuries to employees and contractors, protect people, property, and assets while minimizing impact to the business. Ensures compliance to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, and conformance to McKesson EHS & Global Security performance and accountability standards. Coordinates with other departments to integrate safety and security into all aspects of operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the site and the Global Security & Safety team to ensure alignment with overall organizational standards and protocols.

  • Provide guidance and oversight to ensure compliance to all applicable McKesson Global Security & Safety (GSS) policies/procedures/SOPs at site level.

  • Lead initiatives to implement and enforce environmental, health, safety, and security protocols to ensure that the DC operations exceed standards.

  • Develop comprehensive risk assessments and mitigation plans based on safety and security metric analysis, hazard recognition, observation data and incident tracking to prevent accidents or incidents.

  • Measure site’s Safety Performance Index experience against published requirements to develop an action plan to address deficiencies.

  • Drive safety and security culture at site level through frequent site audits to identify all non-compliance with site equipment, physical security or GSS programs. Implement solutions to mitigate the risk to people, property, and assets by leading the site safety & security committee.

  • Serve as site Ergonomics Champion.

  • Design, implement and track progress to site specific Safety Action Plan and the post-audit Security Action Plan.

  • Responsible for leading and ensuring compliance with physical and electronic security systems and programs.

  • Lead safety and security program training for the site, including but not limited to, conducting new people leader training, and assisting with New Employee onboarding and Powered Industrial Truck training. Monitor training completion rates at site level and follow-up to ensure completion. Implement new/updated training as .

  • Proactively engage with environmental, health, safety and security initiatives while appropriately escalating and troubleshooting to drive effective implementation.

  • Attend and engage in Leadership meetings to include site, region and division-level safety and security calls.

  • Partner with Risk Management team on site claims management and Return to Work processes.

  • Lead environmental compliance related to Hazardous & Regulated Waste (HRW) management, HazMat shipping, SPCC plans, fire code compliance and air permitting.

  • Support DSCSA & Quality research process into loss or suspected theft of product in coordination with site’s Operations & Global Security teams.

  • Liaison with local emergency management groups (i.e. Local Law Enforcement, Fire Department, LEPC, CUPA, etc.)

Shift Hours:8 am - 4:30, with flexibility to include nights and weekends

MinimumRequirement

Degree or equivalent and 4+ years of relevant experience.

Critical Skills

  • Experience monitoring and managing compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, DOT, FDA, DEA).

  • Knowledge of, or experience working with, physical & electronic security equipment such as video, access control, and alarm systems.

  • Must have incident investigation and prevention process experience, including demonstrated ability to uncover true root causes of incidents through a prescribed Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis process.

  • Intermediate computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other web-based applications, and an ability to use and operate technology programs related to electronic security systems.

  • Strong project management and analytical skills, with high levels of attention to detail and accuracy; effective at applying strategic and analytical thinking to deliver business insights; able to identify trends and patterns that contribute to improved processes.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely while influencing others across all levels of the organization.

  • Must be able to work on and prioritize multiple tasks; must be able to work well under pressure, both internal and external and exercise sound judgment.
