Position Summary: Under the general direction of the Senior Director of Social Services, the Social Services Director provides leadership to the Social Services Teams, including monitoring and evaluating the Social Services Department which includes Residential Services, comprised of Renewing Hope Case Management, Client Services Case Management, Emergency Shelter Case Management, Housing Navigation Center Case Management and Coordination, Operation Home Case Management. The Director of Social Services is responsible for training and supervising departmental staff. The Director enforces rules and regulations to ensure safety and orderly operation of the program and staff. The Director completes required grant reports, reviews monthly program revenue and works with department assistant director(s), managers and staff to provide help and hope for our client's organization wide. The Director reviews; invoices, reports, charts, case notes, records and services to ensure that programmatic and ethical standards are met and that all department or division expectations are fulfilled. Essential Responsibilities: Provide leadership for Assistant Director, managers, supervisors and staff in Social Services Department/Division Promote and instill a culture of inclusiveness, high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality. Attract, develop, coach, and retain high-performance team members, and empower them to elevate their level of responsibility and performance through positive reinforcement and effective leadership. Oversees the process requests for services by conducting intakes, obtaining/completing necessary assessments, and collecting documentation for the determination of eligibility. Oversees the provision of direct service and support to individuals and clients, such as referrals, conducting a needs evaluation, or resolving conflicts. Establish and oversee administrative procedures to meet objectives set by the Senior Director of Social Services Oversee assessments to identify the assistance needed and ensure Case Managers develop individualized service plans for each client. Maintain awareness of potential resources in the community that may be of benefit to the clients and ensure staff makes proper referrals. Complete a range of required program related documentation utilizing a range of computer programs and data collection systems. Meet with assistant directors, managers and supervisors regularly to ensure goals are being met. Ensure all documentation of case notes, grant expectations, policy and procedures are met accordingly. Ensure networking and outreach to various agencies and companies to develop partnerships. Protect all confidential information, company property and electronic data. Comply with safety rules. Other related duties as directed. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, physical and mental dysfunctions, and career counseling and guidance. Qualifications: Master's degree in social service field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Four to six years case management experience with homeless population, human service, substance abuse, mental illness, or any human service related field, with two years of management experience. Professional licensure as a social worker, therapist, counselor or related field preferred. Physical Requirements Primarily works in office environment, but will also work throughout the agency and off site. Position Summary:

Under the general direction of the Senior Director of Social Services, the Social Services Director provides leadership to the Social Services Teams, including monitoring and evaluating the Social Services Department which includes Residential Services, comprised of Renewing Hope Case Management, Client Services Case Management, Emergency Shelter Case Management, Housing Navigation Center Case Management and Coordination, Operation Home Case Management. The Director of Social Services is responsible for training and supervising departmental staff. The Director enforces rules and regulations to ensure safety and orderly operation of the program and staff. The Director completes required grant reports, reviews monthly program revenue and works with department assistant director(s), managers and staff to provide help and hope for our client's organization wide. The Director reviews; invoices, reports, charts, case notes, records and services to ensure that programmatic and ethical standards are met and that all department or division expectations are fulfilled.

  • Provide leadership for Assistant Director, managers, supervisors and staff in Social Services Department/Division

  • Oversees the provision of direct service and support to individuals and clients, such as referrals, conducting a needs evaluation, or resolving conflicts.
  • Establish and oversee administrative procedures to meet objectives set by the Senior Director of Social Services
  • Oversee assessments to identify the assistance needed and ensure Case Managers develop individualized service plans for each client.
  • Maintain awareness of potential resources in the community that may be of benefit to the clients and ensure staff makes proper referrals.
  • Complete a range of required program related documentation utilizing a range of computer programs and data collection systems.
  • Meet with assistant directors, managers and supervisors regularly to ensure goals are being met.
  • Ensure all documentation of case notes, grant expectations, policy and procedures are met accordingly.
  • Ensure networking and outreach to various agencies and companies to develop partnerships.
  • Protect all confidential information, company property and electronic data. Comply with safety rules.
  • Other related duties as directed.

  • Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, physical and mental dysfunctions, and career counseling and guidance.

  • Professional licensure as a social worker, therapist, counselor or related field preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Primarily works in office environment, but will also work throughout the agency and off site.
