Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Lead to serve as our Infrastructure team's most senior technical contributor. In this role, you’ll play a strategic and hands-on part in designing, automating, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure. You’ll drive technical decision-making, lead cross-functional initiatives, and mentor other engineers, ensuring our cloud infrastructure is secure, efficient, and scalable. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep cloud expertise with a leadership mindset and a drive to enable seamless developer productivity.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Architect & Lead Cloud Infrastructure: Design and implement resilient, high-performance cloud systems, guiding best practices in scalability, security, and reliability.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Lead infrastructure-as-code efforts using Terraform and AWS CDK, setting high standards for automation, security, and resilience.
  • Mentorship & Development: Mentor other engineers on cloud best practices, operations, and infrastructure strategy, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Automation: Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines, enabling seamless integration and deployment processes.
  • Observability & Monitoring: Drive metrics-based operational strategies, implementing advanced observability tools for proactive monitoring and effective incident response.
  • Security & Compliance: Enforce security standards across cloud environments, with a focus on disaster recovery (DR) and high availability (HA).
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve complex performance and scalability issues across distributed cloud systems, implementing autoscaling and resource optimization strategies.

What You Bring:

  • Experience: 7+ years in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or DevOps, with demonstrated experience in senior-level technical leadership.
  • Cloud & IaC Expertise: Proficiency in AWS (e.g., EKS, DynamoDB, Aurora) and advanced knowledge of IaC and CI/CD tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CDK.
  • Technical Leadership: Proven ability to mentor engineers, lead technical decisions, and manage complex cloud initiatives that impact multiple teams.
  • Containerization & Kubernetes: Strong experience with containerized microservices and Kubernetes, with expertise in creating scalable, efficient solutions.
  • Observability & Metrics: Skilled in monitoring tools like Datadog, Prometheus, and CloudWatch, using data to drive decision-making.
  • Security Awareness: Deep understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance standards, with a history of implementing secure cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaboration Skills: Excellent communicator with a track record of driving cross-functional projects and aligning infrastructure strategies with organizational goals.
