Rotating - 08 Hour (United States of America)
Job Summary
A Facility Assistant performs a variety of semi-skilled mechanical, electrical or general work in connection with 1 utility worker is assigned to take direction and assist tradesperson, for the duration of an assignment.
Essential Functions
The essential functions listed below are general examples and not a description of comprehensive duties. May be asked to perform other duties as assigned.
Employees must abide by all Joint Commission requirements including, but not limited to, sensitivity to cultural diversity, patient care, patients’ rights and ethical treatment, safety and security of physical environments, emergency management, teamwork, respect for others, participation in ongoing education and training, communication and adherence to safety and quality programs, sustaining compliance with National Patient Safety Goals, and licensure and health screenings.
- Completes Maximo work orders.
- Participates in the implementation of Facilities project activities. Coordinates all project logistics, materials and resources.
- Performs EOC Rounds with Facility Manager. Check rooms and furniture to identify needs for repairs or renovations.
- Provides work-lead direction and/or train others.
- Monitors and evaluates program effectiveness, investigate trends, and recommend and implement modifications to supervisor/manager to improve program effectiveness.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the C-I-CARE Standards of the Hospital. C-I-CARE is the foundation of Stanford Healthcare – Tri-Valley’s patient-experience and represents a framework for patient-centered interactions
Job Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Experience
- Minimum (two) 2 years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience
License/Certifications
- None Required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to adapt to and deal with change and ambiguity
- Ability to operate standard tools, instruments and equipment used on the job
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize tasks
- Ability to speak and write English effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to work well with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Knowledge of computer systems and software used in functional area
- Knowledge of local, state and federal regulatory requirements related to areas of functional responsibilities
- Knowledge of methods, tools and equipment used in maintenance and repair

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $26.44 - $32.45 per hourThe salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
