Determine product complexity and build requirements to select appropriate manufacturing lines/processes. Write initial work instructions for new products. Recommend product and process improvements. Participate in design and process failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA). Assess new product processes for safety impact. You have: Technical degree or Certification preferred. 2+ years technical/engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, including fixture design and basic manufacturing process expertise (forming, welding, assembly, testing, packaging). Participation in the FMEA process. 3 years' experience with engineering software and enterprise resource planning preferred. Knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacturability) to provide guidance for new and existing products. Ability to network multi-functionally. Ability to meet the physical and environmental demands of a manufacturing position.   • Successfully implement and validate new equipment, new processes, and recipe creation for new products.
  • Determine product complexity and build requirements to select appropriate manufacturing lines/processes.
  • Write initial work instructions for new products.
  • Recommend product and process improvements.
  • Participate in design and process failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA).
  • Assess new product processes for safety impact.

You have:

  • Technical degree or Certification preferred.
  • 2+ years technical/engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, including fixture design and basic manufacturing process expertise (forming, welding, assembly, testing, packaging). Participation in the FMEA process.
  • 3 years' experience with engineering software and enterprise resource planning preferred.
  • Knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacturability) to provide guidance for new and existing products.
  • Ability to network multi-functionally.
  • Ability to meet the physical and environmental demands of a manufacturing position.

Pay Transparency

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance.
