The Salt Lake City facility specializes in production of high performing navigation and inertial measurement systems. In this role, you will lead a multi-disciplined team of approximately 30 engineers across our Instruments and Systems factory. This consists of Reliability Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Test Engineering, Systems Engineering, Optical Engineering, and others.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or related technical field with a minimum of 8 years of experience; 6 years of experience with Master's Degree.
  • 4 years of direct people leadership and management experience in related field.
  • Experience working across multiple disciplines (design, manufacturing and test engineering) with a focus on product development and producibility.
  • Experience with financial management including project & process control, budgets, Earned Value, and Project Management.
  • US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Test Engineering
  • Experience with ISO9001/AS9100
  • Experience with Six Sigma tools (ex. Green Belt, Black Belt)
  • Experience leading teams in production environment

Salary Range: $146,800.00 - $220,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
