In This Role, You Will...

• Lead and manage the Endpoint Engineering team, setting clear objectives, evaluating performance, and facilitating professional development.
• Oversee the design, engineering, and evolution of desktop environments across Windows, macOS, and Ubuntu, ensuring adherence to Zoox standards for performance and stability.
• Oversee the lifecycle management for high-availability endpoints in critical operational environments (e.g., call centers, commercial operations centers), ensuring maximum reliability and stability within highly restrictive maintenance windows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that are reliable, secure, and scalable.
• Ensure the development and maintenance of comprehensive documentation, including standard operating procedures, configuration guides, and knowledge base articles.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing technical teams.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing technical staff. Exceptional communication skills, with ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven expertise in engineering and managing desktop environments across multiple operating systems (Windows, macOS, Ubuntu) using central management tools such as Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune, or similar.
• Experience managing endpoint estates using modern configuration management tools (e.g., SaltStack, Puppet, Ansible) and applying GitOps practices for desired-state configuration and automated deployment.
• Familiarity with the full VDI lifecycle, from design and implementation to maintenance and optimization, with a focus on delivering a high-quality user experience. Experience with the Omnissa Horizon ecosystem is a plus.
