About the Role

As a key leader within Flora Food Group’s Global Engineering team, you will drive the delivery of the region’s capital expenditure (CAPEX) program across North America, Canada, and Latin America. Your role involves leading multi-site projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and aligned with our global engineering strategy and growth goals.

You will collaborate closely with local and central engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders to execute projects ranging from $0.5M to $ 20M+. This includes reviewing capital proposals, ensuring compliance with company and local standards, and supporting the implementation of our sustainability initiatives.

Safety is a top priority in all projects, and you will lead by example while fostering the growth of engineering talent within the region. Building strong relationships with suppliers and contractors to optimize cost and quality is also a key part of your responsibilities.

About You

To succeed, you must bring at least 5 years of FMCG or related industry experience, with a proven track record in managing complex engineering projects and leading cross-functional teams. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities across diverse locations are essential.

A bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering or a related discipline is required, along with professional engineer status or membership in a recognized institution. Expertise in project management, manufacturing excellence, capital procurement, and maintenance best practices will set you apart.
