The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of semiconductor systems and equipment. The Technician must understand the principles of semiconductor technology and be proficient in testing, troubleshooting, and upkeep of semiconductor systems. The Technician must also be able to identify, diagnose, and correct malfunctions in equipment and systems. The Technician will be required to work with minimal supervision and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting and performing Preventative Maintenance on Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment., which includes troubleshooting, adjusting, repairing, and calibrating complex electro-mechanical sub-assemblies.
  • Works on a Compressed Work Week schedule in a Cleanroom environment.
  • Competency in using Digital Volt Meters, hand tools and diagnostic equipment used to perform troubleshooting.
  • Clear understanding for Statistical Process Control and how it applies to manufacturing equipment and processes.
  • Ability to read schematics and CAD drawings as aids in successful troubleshooting.
  • Follows prescribed documented Preventative and Predictive maintenance activities.
  • Maintains Safe Work Environment and acts as a safety role model for others in the company.
  • Demonstrates a can-do attitude of working in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Assists Staff Equipment Engineers with writing preventative maintenance procedures and schedules.
  • Accurate record keeping on maintenance activities.

Required Qualifications
