Position Overview We are seeking a Group Manager for our Water and Wastewater team with 15+ years of experience to lead the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Financial & Operational Performance •Own the group’s financial health: oversee revenue, profitability, budget stewardship, and capital planning. •Optimize use of project management and financial tools (e.g., Ajera) to actively monitor and improve key metrics. •Ensure streamlined billing cycles, efficient management of work-in-progress (WIP), and strong receivables performance. •Help set and guide pricing, proposal, and contract strategies. Position Overview We are seeking a Draftsman / Engineering CAD Specialist to support the Fast Response Cutter (FRC) program for the U.S. Coast Guard. This role sits at the intersection of engineering and drafting, supporting Coast Guard engineers by developing, modifying, and maintaining high-quality CAD drawings that reflect approved technical direction and vessel configurations. You will work closely with naval engineers, configuration managers, and program staff to ensure engineering drawings are accurate, compliant with Coast Guard standards, and ready to support acquisition, sustainment, and fleet operations. Responsibilities CAD & Engineering Drawing Support Create, modify, and maintain naval engineering drawings using AutoCAD, supporting hull, mechanical, electrical, and electronic (HM&E) systems. Translate engineering direction, red-lined markups, and technical inputs into accurate, production-ready CAD drawings. Apply U.S. Coast Guard CAD and drafting standards, including standard borders, title blocks, layers, symbology, and AutoCAD block libraries. Engineering CAD Specialist Functions Support Coast Guard engineers by serving as a technical CAD resource for engineering analysis, design updates, and configuration changes. Support configuration management activities by ensuring drawings reflect current baselines and approved changes. Help engineers interpret, organize, and apply technical data within CAD environments. Program Coordination & Deliverables Coordinate with engineers, program staff, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure drawing accuracy. Provide status updates and respond to requests from government representatives as needed. Deliver all drawings and documentation electronically, ensuring compatibility with DHS-standard Microsoft Office environments. Maintain organized electronic files and drawing packages in accordance with program requirements. Required Skills and Experience Associate's degree in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred. At least 5 years of relevant drafting or CAD experience (education and experience may be combined). Minimum 10 years of total work experience. Strong proficiency with AutoCAD for engineering and technical drawings. Ability to interpret engineering markups, redlines, and technical guidance. General understanding of naval, mechanical, or shipboard systems. Ability to obtain and maintain DHS suitability. Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy.
