Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Lead to support U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) in Doral, Florida. This position is contingent upon award of the USSOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES).

Responsibilities:

  • Designs, implements, and manages virtualization technologies and environments to optimize IT infrastructure and resource utilization in support of Enterprise Data Center (EDC) operations services

  • Configures and maintains virtual machines and manages hypervisors

  • Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to virtualization infrastructure, including performance and connectivity problems

  • Assists with the integration of site-specific hardware, firmware, and software into the DAO baseline

  • Assists with the design and implementation of virtualization systems and network improvements as required

  • Helps to identify redundant systems and excessive operational costs that do not significantly impact system availability and security

  • Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments

  • Plans and leads major technology assignments

  • Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments

Qualifications:

Required:

  • US Citizen with active Secret security clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

  • One or more of the following certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) License, Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP), Microsoft Azure Developer Associate, Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) or Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience

  • Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments while supporting multiple projects

  • Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience with change management tools and ITSM platforms (ServiceNow)
