Position Purpose:

Responsible for providing drafting and technical support to the application engineer to whom assigned.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare customer approval drawings for custom orders (SMOs)
• Complete fabrication and assembly drawings from Product Designers
• Maintain profile layers on custom part drawings

Position Requirements:

Successful candidate must have high school diploma or equivalent work experience with technical school training in drafting preferred. Must be proficient in SolidWorks and personal computers with a background with Windows. Prior drafting experience is very beneficial. Good written and oral communication skills required as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment. Must have the ability to pass solidworks Associate examination.

Physical/Mental Requirements Needed to Perform the Essential Functions of the Position:

Normal standing, bending, walking and lifting in an office environment. Must be able to sit and work at a CAD station for several hours at a time. Must be capable of doing light assembly work in the engineering lab occasionally.
