STV is currently seeking a L and Development Civil Engineering Specialist for its Buildings, Facilities and Infrastructure group in Owings Mills, MD , which is currently the civil engineer of record for such high-profile projects as Harborplace and Baltimore Peninsula in Baltimore, MD. The candidate will collaborate on a wide variety of projects including conceptual master plans, schools, mixed-use, office buildings, industrial buildings, housing/apartment projects, commercial buildings, and civil/site structures. The position will allow the individual to collaborate with our civil design team preparing documents associated with a wide variety of land development projects within the Baltimore Metropolitan area. The ideal candidate will have at least a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and be an Engineer In Training (EIT). Experience with MicroStation, Civil 3D or AutoCAD is strongly preferred. Job Description: Working in a team environment and supporting R/D and Manufacturing team members to support all aspects of prototype planning (purchases, inventory analysis, kit prep, etc.) Participate in prototype reviews with engineering team members. Responsibilities could include supporting R/D team members with SKU/BOM design documentation requirements Partners with R&D and New Product Introduction (NPI) Supply Chain groups to successfully introduce new products into world-wide production. Product Engineers interface with R&D, factory Process engineering, Test Engineering and Reliability engineering to support NPI introductions. Responsibilities: Participates as a member of project team of other product engineers to develop and execute reliable, cost effective and high-quality manufacturing solutions for products from new- product introduction through end of lifecycle. Implements specified changes to product or process to reduce defects, improve quality, and lower costs. Develops understanding of and relationship with internal and outsourced partners for product development and manufacturing. Education and Experience Required: Associates degree, or bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent work experiences. Job Description

STV is currently seeking a Land Development Civil Engineering Specialist for its Buildings, Facilities and Infrastructure group in Owings Mills, MD, which is currently the civil engineer of record for such high-profile projects as Harborplace and Baltimore Peninsula in Baltimore, MD. The candidate will collaborate on a wide variety of projects including conceptual master plans, schools, mixed-use, office buildings, industrial buildings, housing/apartment projects, commercial buildings, and civil/site structures.  The position will allow the individual to collaborate with our civil design team preparing documents associated with a wide variety of land development projects within the Baltimore Metropolitan area. The ideal candidate will have at least a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and be an Engineer In Training (EIT). Experience with MicroStation, Civil 3D or AutoCAD is strongly preferred.

This role is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level or early-career engineer to:

• Work on high-profile projects in education, mixed-use, commercial, industrial, and institutional development.• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on the full lifecycle of site development projects.• Gain hands-on experience in grading, utilities, stormwater management, and permitting.• Build toward professional licensure with mentorship and support from senior engineers.Key Responsibilities• Prepare construction documents, permit packages, and support construction services.• Utilize design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation; HydroCAD; Hydraflow Hydrographs and ArcGIS) to create construction drawings, layouts, and models for land development projects• Conduct site investigations and assessments to support design decisions.• Develop sustainable and innovative solutions for site layouts, stormwater management, grading, utilities, and erosion/sediment control.• Prepare design calculations, technical reports, and feasibility studies.• Coordinate with regulatory agencies to secure permits and approvals.• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to integrate site design with overall project goals.• Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss project requirements and progress.• Support project managers by monitoring budgets, schedules, and deliverables.• Stay current with industry trends, technology, and best practices to enhance project quality.Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (required).• 3 years of experience in civil/site design, land development, or a related field.• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or successful completion of the FE exam is preferred but not required.• Familiarity with site development principles, including grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, and erosion/sediment control.• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation (ArcGIS and Hydraflow Hydrographs preferred but not required).• Exposure to permitting processes in Maryland jurisdictions (Baltimore City experience a plus).• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to progress multiple projects simultaneously.• Effective written and verbal communication skills for client and team collaboration.• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
