WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will lead a team of engineers contributing towards the success of Viant DSP portal. Your job will involve overseeing the design and implementation of features to the portal in collaboration with partner engineering teams and product management.

THE DAY-TO-DAY

  • Lead the development of high quality features based on requirements from product managers..
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize platform performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Be involved in code / design on occasion, collaborating with the engineering team to contribute to critical projects, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guidance when necessary while balancing leadership responsibilities.
  • Operate high-efficiency teams by implementing quality practices, ensuring speed of delivery, oversee architecture and design, and maintaining high code quality.
  • Foster a culture of continuous growth and improvement through coaching, mentoring, feedback and clear measurable outcomes.

GREAT TO HAVE

  • 10+ years of experience, including 3+ years' experience managing full-stack teams.
  • 3+ years of experience working with geographically remote teams and contractors.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, Masters preferred.
  • 7+ years hands on programming capabilities in Java and/or Go Lang.
  • Track record in building large, horizontally scalable distributed systems.
