This person will work with engineers, assist with monitoring, maintenance, and problem resolution of production applications. Common accountabilities: Manages a team of Staff employees and has accountability for their performance and results. Sets performance objectives, conducts performance reviews and recommends pay actions. Defines a vision for the team in line with the department strategy and operational challenges and translates it into a concrete action plan. Works with a high level of autonomy, with some guidance from Senior Manager. Acts as a reference across multiple areas, anticipating solutions to complex problems. Optimizes efficiency based on knowledge and experience with the policies, procedures and business plan. In this role you'll: There will be end to end application operations management for Navitaire. The manager will manage the full application stack (OS, Data Bases and Data Stores). Application, Links, vNW and the corresponding support functions according to the agreed service levls (internal & external) Change and Release Management: Manage and execute change, release and test processes and drive automation of these processes Problem & Incident Management. Produces deliverables and carries out problem investigations, support or change management activities within timescales and standards defined by Team Leader or Project Leader. Combines technical skills with business awareness to get a bigger picture understanding of the Service Reliability Engineering. Provide support on related to production systems availability, latency, performance, efficiency issues. Support monitoring tools currently in production. Provide emergency response to production systems incidents. Maintain production ticketing system. Maintain the knowledgebase solution platform. Create, Delete and maintain production automation solutions using tools. Automation of day to day tasks. Resolve/remove false-positives alerts. Configure and update alert dashboards. Maintain tasks using task scheduler. Participate during application releases implementation. Analyze and interpret application logs to determine problem areas. Enhance current application and device monitoring systems. Help to evaluate application performance statistics including application and system response times. Excellent Technical knowledge on DevOps area where applications are hosted on Cloud. Should be able to design and deliver Highly efficient and scalable Test system. About the ideal candidate: Required Skills and Knowledge Bachelor's or graduate degree in engineering. Working knowledge of the Linux and Windows operating systems. Ideally to have experience on SOP, SU, SLO, Automation, Capacity Management, Operational Improvement, Operational Readiness Testing. Ability to technically troubleshoot cloud solutions, analyzing technical problems within the application, server and operating systems logs to identify the root cause and resolving the issue creating an impact to system's availability in production. Experience supporting monitoring, alerting, or pipeline analysis tool while optimizing the current configuration of those monitoring tools and technically maintaining their availability. General networking knowledge. Knowledge and practical exposure to IT and Cloud operations, ideally in mission-critical environments. Knowledge of standard automation tools and scripting: Terraform, FLUX. Experience in implementing measurements and alerting in complex environments using standard tools like Splunk Grafana, Prometheus, Argos, ServiceNow Knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Azure AKS is a plus. Following skills are a plus: Experience as team technical lead or SRE team lead. Fluency in C#, .NET, or other common scripting languages. Experience in problem solving and troubleshooting network latency and connectivity issues. Experience developing operational automation in a distributed environment. Knowledge of automated and centralized job scheduling. Experience in a mixed on-premises and cloud environment. Experience with a CDN such as Akamai, Cloudflare or other. Experience with VMware. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes or other containerized solution. Strong collaboration skills and team player Good written and verbal communication ability. Summary of the role:

In Navitaire the Service Reliability Engineers create a bridge between development and operations by applying a software engineering mindset to system administration topics. The manager will lead the team responsible for working on projects or day to day operational activities aimed to ensure the reliability.

This person will work with engineers, assist with monitoring, maintenance, and problem resolution of production applications. The candidate must be able to provide prompt technology operations support in a high energy, fast-paced environment. With our SRE team we are focusing to have our ideally efficiency in the main capabilities.

Common accountabilities:

  • Manages a team of Staff employees and has accountability for their performance and results. Sets performance objectives, conducts performance reviews and recommends pay actions.
  • Defines a vision for the team in line with the department strategy and operational challenges and translates it into a concrete action plan. Works with a high level of autonomy, with some guidance from Senior Manager.
  • Acts as a reference across multiple areas, anticipating solutions to complex problems.
  • Optimizes efficiency based on knowledge and experience with the policies, procedures and business plan.

In this role you'll:

  • There will be end to end application operations management for Navitaire.
  • The manager will manage the full application stack (OS, Data Bases and Data Stores).
  • Application, Links, vNW and the corresponding support functions according to the agreed service levls (internal & external)
  • Change and Release Management: Manage and execute change, release and test processes and drive automation of these processes
  • Problem & Incident Management. Produces deliverables and carries out problem investigations, support or change management activities within timescales and standards defined by Team Leader or Project Leader.
  • Combines technical skills with business awareness to get a bigger picture understanding of the Service Reliability Engineering.
  • Provide support on related to production systems availability, latency, performance, efficiency issues.
  • Support monitoring tools currently in production.
  • Provide emergency response to production systems incidents.
  • Maintain production ticketing system.
  • Maintain the knowledgebase solution platform.
  • Create, Delete and maintain production automation solutions using tools.
  • Automation of day to day tasks.
  • Resolve/remove false-positives alerts.
  • Configure and update alert dashboards.
  • Maintain tasks using task scheduler.
  • Participate during application releases implementation.
  • Analyze and interpret application logs to determine problem areas.
  • Enhance current application and device monitoring systems.
  • Help to evaluate application performance statistics including application and system response times.
  • Excellent Technical knowledge on DevOps area where applications are hosted on Cloud.
  • Should be able to design and deliver Highly efficient and scalable Test system.

About the ideal candidate:

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Bachelor's or graduate degree in engineering.
  • Working knowledge of the Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Ideally to have experience on SOP, SU, SLO, Automation, Capacity Management, Operational Improvement, Operational Readiness Testing.
  • Ability to technically troubleshoot cloud solutions, analyzing technical problems within the application, server and operating systems logs to identify the root cause and resolving the issue creating an impact to system's availability in production.
  • Experience supporting monitoring, alerting, or pipeline analysis tool while optimizing the current configuration of those monitoring tools and technically maintaining their availability.
  • General networking knowledge.
  • Knowledge and practical exposure to IT and Cloud operations, ideally in mission-critical environments.
  • Knowledge of standard automation tools and scripting: Terraform, FLUX.
  • Experience in implementing measurements and alerting in complex environments using standard tools like Splunk Grafana, Prometheus, Argos, ServiceNow
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Azure AKS is a plus.

Following skills are a plus:

  • Experience as team technical lead or SRE team lead.
  • Fluency in C#, .NET, or other common scripting languages.
  • Experience in problem solving and troubleshooting network latency and connectivity issues.
  • Experience developing operational automation in a distributed environment.
  • Knowledge of automated and centralized job scheduling.
  • Experience in a mixed on-premises and cloud environment.
  • Experience with a CDN such as Akamai, Cloudflare or other.
  • Experience with VMware.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes or other containerized solution.
  • Strong collaboration skills and team player
  • Good written and verbal communication ability.
