Job Description
Olea Kiosks is a leader in the self-service kiosk industry, designing visually stunning and highly functional kiosks that are seen every day in airports, restaurants, department stores, hospitals, hotels, casinos, and more. Our products process hundreds of millions of transactions across the United States each year, facilitating everything from high tech biometric identification, to ordering a burger.

As an Engineering Intern at Olea, you will gain real-world experience in a fast-paced, manufacturing plant, while learning from some of the best Engineers, Designers, and Manufacturing Professionals in the industry.
The essential duties and responsibilities of the position include:
- Audit and update Bill of Material (BOM) against 3D SolidWorks models
- Audit and update hardware equipment installed into products on our manufacturing line, against design data in ERP system and SolidWorks
- Perform design checks of new and modified designs, according to established design criteria checklists
- Update SolidWorks models to add or correct fastener hardware
- Update SolidWorks models to bring older component design files into compliance with new design standards
- Incorporate Engineering Change Orders (ECO)
- Participate in design reviews of new and modified Engineering designs

This is a part-time, on-site position is Cerritos, CA. As an intern, we realize that your education comes first, and we will work with you to find a work schedule that fits with your class schedule. Starting pay for this position is $17.50 per hour.
Requirements
To be considered for the position, candidates should have the following qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Engineering
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with SolidWorks Pro
- Able to contribute ideas to a highly collaborative and creative team
