Position Responsibilities Assists in preparation of solutions to general and engineering problems. Checks and coordinates details and dimensions under supervision. Performs structural analysis and design under supervision. Assists in preparation of design and construction documents. Provides independent general drafting work relating to specific areas of project. Reviews shop drawing and product submittals for general conformance with the structural engineering documents. Handles a reasonable workload to meet project tasks deadlines and commitments under regular direction from the supervisor. Generates ideas under direction relative to the task in hand for review and selection by others. ​ Minimum Qualifications Recent completion of B.S. in Civil Engineering or B.Eng required; Master’s degree in Structural Engineering a plus. Strong collaborative ability. Limited experience in structural analysis, drafting, and design development. Demonstrates general knowledge of materials, detailing and construction techniques related to structural engineering principles, and codes. Exhibits initiative, problem solving, and a high attention to precision and accuracy at a task specific level. Able to follow instructions on timelines of deliverables, seeks guidance when needed, escalates appropriately if needed. The Opportunity:

CACI is looking for an experienced and dynamic Engineering Manager with a focus on continuous improvement and project management to lead one of our Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) engineering teams.  The candidate will oversee a team of engineers responsible for designing and implementing an enterprise Unified Endpoint Management Solution capable of managing Microsoft Windows endpoints for the EITaaS program, supporting the Department of the Air Force.

On the EITaaS program, CACI will deliver enhanced capabilities and services to implement and operate an enterprise ITSM solution, enterprise service desk, endpoint management and security solution, as well as CONUS/OCONUS field support and life cycle support for end user devices to enable the DAF to transition focus from IT operations to mission operations. 

The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, certified PMP credentials, and excellent people management abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of UEM engineering projects, focusing on enhancing and optimizing our MECM implementation and related systems.
  • Manage a team of experienced UEM systems engineers, fostering innovation and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Implement and oversee the system development lifecycle for UEM-related projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Utilize PMP methodologies to plan, execute, and close engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Develop and implement strategies for improving UEM processes, systems, and products, with a focus on short-term results (1 year or less).
  • Collaborate with other IT teams and business units to align UEM engineering strategies with overall organizational objectives.
  • Conduct regular assessments of UEM systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Provide regular reports and presentations to senior management on UEM engineering initiatives, project progress, and strategic recommendations.
  • Communicate effectively and collaboratively with customers, stakeholders, and peers 

Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Active DoD Secret clearance
  • 12+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role
  • 5+ years of experience in IT engineering
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex IT engineering projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams of experienced professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and explain policies/procedures to stakeholders within and outside the job function.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

Desired: 

  • Experience in the following areas of interest: MS Windows, Windows Server, Endpoint Management, MECM, SCCM
  • Experience with ServiceNow 
  • Additional certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, or Microsoft certifications.
  • Experience with implementing and optimizing cloud-based UEM solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of UEM best practices, technologies, and trends.
  • Advanced knowledge in UEM systems engineering and related technical disciplines.
