To manage and oversee the department in accordance with standards and guidelines established by SpringHill Suites Jackson Hole and The Yarrow Group. JOB DUTIES 1. Monitors the daily operation of the repairs and maintenance department 2. Assesses priorities and address accordingly. 3. Enforces company and departmental policies and procedures. 4. Manages and controls purchasing to ensure department is within budget. 5. Responsible for creating and facilitating a preventative maintenance schedule. 6. Enforces SpringHill Suites Jackson Hole and The Yarrow Group standards, policies and procedures with staff. 7. Directs and evaluates performance of staff through follow up and training. 8. Hires and supervises maintenance team. 9. Develops training programs to ensure effective results. 10. Establishes and ensures compliance with guest service standards. 11. Utilizes inventories to provide high quality maintenance of the units. 12. Develops a positive rapport with all owners, associations and board members. 13. Initiates and maintains effective communication within department, and between all other departments and associates. 14. Ensures grooming and conduct standards for all associates are enforced. 15. Provides feedback to management and owners on specific maintenance and repair needs. 16. Develops and maintains effective payable, payroll, work order and other paperwork systems. 17. Provides quality control and care of supplies and equipment. 18. Attends weekly departmental meeting as necessary. 19. Is aligned with the culture, values, goals and human resource programs of SpringHill Suites Jackson Hole and The Yarrow Group. 20. Maintains a professional appearance and attitude at all times. 21. Support the SpringHill Suites Jackson Hole and The Yarrow Group environmental commitments by having the knowledge, skills and values to be a leader in the global goal of “greening” the hospitality industry. 22. Watch for safety hazards and report them immediately to your Supervisor. 23. Travel to other properties in The Yarrow Group portfolio as required for task for assignments. 24. Maintain documentation resources including but not limited to: preventive maintenance, risk management, loss prevention, safety, security, regulatory compliance, training, and standards. RESPONSIBILTY 1. Be ready and willing to complete the job as necessary. 2. Be an example to all employees. 3. Educate all staff on health and safety procedures and policies Requirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 1. Has thorough knowledge and understanding of general repairs and maintenance. 2. Proven track record working with information technology systems. 3. Experience with fire and life safety systems. 4. Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and refrigeration. 5. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills written and verbal. Will be interfacing with guests and owners to provide efficient and effective results as related repairs and maintenance. 6. Maintains a close working relationship with team members and department heads from all areas of hotel operations. 7. The position is on call 24 hours a day. One must be flexible to work long hours to ensure the smooth operation of the engineering department. 8. This position requires the ability to communicate and make sound judgment calls when evaluating problems and situations in order to expedite the resolution. Additionally, it is necessary to take a proactive role and manage by example. The SREM will also be responsible for working with business and IT stakeholders to balance real-world risks with business drivers such as speed, agility, flexibility and performance. Provide reliability communication, awareness and training for audiences, which may range from senior leaders to field staff. Work as a liaison with vendors and the legal and purchasing departments to establish mutually acceptable contracts and service-level agreements. Manage production issues and incidents and participate in problem and change management forums. Work with various stakeholders to identify information asset owners to classify data and systems as part of a reliability framework implementation. Serve as an active and consistent participant in the systems reliability governance process. Work with the Services Delivery Senior Director and other IT and business stakeholders to define metrics and reporting strategies that effectively communicate successes and progress of the reliability program. Provide support and guidance for legal and regulatory compliance efforts, including audit support. Architecture/Engineering Support Consult with other IT and reliability staff reports to ensure that reliability is factored into the evaluation, selection, installation and configuration of hardware, applications and software. Recommend and coordinate the implementation of technical controls to support and enforce defined reliability practices and policies. Research, evaluate, design, test, recommend or plan the implementation of new or updated reliability hardware or software, and analyze its impact on the existing environment; provide technical and managerial expertise for the administration of reliability tools. Work with the enterprise architecture team to ensure that there is a convergence of business, technical and reliability requirements; liaise with IT management to align existing technical installed base and skills with future architectural requirements. Develop a strong working relationship with the reliability engineering team reporting to this position to develop and implement controls and configurations aligned with reliability policies and legal, regulatory and audit requirements. Operational Support Coordinate, measure and report on the technical aspects of reliability engineering management. Manage outsourced vendors that provide reliability functions for compliance with contracted service-level agreements. Manage and coordinate operational components of incident management, including detection, response and reporting. Maintain a knowledgebase comprising a technical reference library, reliability trends and practices, and laws and regulations. Manage the day-to-day activities of reliability management, identify risk tolerances, recommend treatment plans and communicate information about residual risk. Manage reliability projects and provide expert guidance on reliability matters for other IT projects. Ensure audit trails, system logs and other monitoring data sources are reviewed periodically and are in compliance with policies and audit requirements. Design, coordinate and oversee reliability testing procedures to verify the reliability of systems, networks and applications, and manage the remediation of identified risks. JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the safe and efficient organization and operation of the repairs and maintenance department. To manage and oversee the department in accordance with standards and guidelines established by SpringHill Suites Jackson Hole and The Yarrow Group.


JOB DUTIES

1. Monitors the daily operation of the repairs and maintenance department

2. Assesses priorities and address accordingly.

3. Enforces company and departmental policies and procedures.

4. Manages and controls purchasing to ensure department is within budget.

5. Responsible for creating and facilitating a preventative maintenance schedule.

6. Enforces SpringHill Suites Jackson Hole and The Yarrow Group standards, policies and procedures with staff.

7. Directs and evaluates performance of staff through follow up and training.

8. Hires and supervises maintenance team.

9. Develops training programs to ensure effective results.

10. Establishes and ensures compliance with guest service standards.

11. Utilizes inventories to provide high quality maintenance of the units.

12. Develops a positive rapport with all owners, associations and board members.

13. Initiates and maintains effective communication within department, and between all other departments and associates.

14. Ensures grooming and conduct standards for all associates are enforced.

15. Provides feedback to management and owners on specific maintenance and repair needs.

16. Develops and maintains effective payable, payroll, work order and other paperwork systems.

17. Provides quality control and care of supplies and equipment.

18. Attends weekly departmental meeting as necessary.

19. Is aligned with the culture, values, goals and human resource programs of SpringHill Suites Jackson Hole and The Yarrow Group.

20. Maintains a professional appearance and attitude at all times.

21. Support the SpringHill Suites Jackson Hole and The Yarrow Group environmental commitments by having the knowledge, skills and values to be a leader in the global goal of “greening” the hospitality industry.

22. Watch for safety hazards and report them immediately to your Supervisor.

23. Travel to other properties in The Yarrow Group portfolio as required for task for assignments.

24. Maintain documentation resources including but not limited to: preventive maintenance, risk management, loss prevention, safety, security, regulatory compliance, training, and standards.

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

1. Has thorough knowledge and understanding of general repairs and maintenance.

2. Proven track record working with information technology systems.

3. Experience with fire and life safety systems.

4. Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and refrigeration.

5. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills written and verbal. Will be interfacing with guests and owners to provide efficient and effective results as related repairs and maintenance.

6. Maintains a close working relationship with team members and department heads from all areas of hotel operations.

7. The position is on call 24 hours a day. One must be flexible to work long hours to ensure the smooth operation of the engineering department.

8. This position requires the ability to communicate and make sound judgment calls when evaluating problems and situations in order to expedite the resolution. Additionally, it is necessary to take a proactive role and manage by example.
