As a Sr. Production and Engineering Technician at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the Production organization. This is a small but growing team of highly motivated people passionate about delivering quality products and services on time, with unquestionable value. You'll play a critical role in the build, operation, integration, test, diagnostics, inspection, and maintenance of highly reliable systems, including electro-mechanical assemblies, wiring harnesses, components, and subassemblies. You'll also help with the installation of those systems onto aircraft. Your work will support various product development phases such as prototype, research and development, aircraft certification, and recurring production. This is a fantastic opportunity to serve as the last line of defense for ensuring that our safety-critical systems are reliable and produced to the intended engineering requirements. The Signup Forms team is the owner of Klaviyo's Forms Product. This includes the editing experience, the Form Template Library, delivering and rendering forms on customers' websites, measuring the impact of the forms and reporting. This is a full stack team and is responsible for a highly scalable, distributed system. This team not only focuses on building intuitive and powerful interfaces to create highly customizable and eye-catching content, it is also responsible for delivering this content to the customers' websites. This product area is core to Klaviyo's continued success. There are ample opportunities for growth given the scope of this role and the team's central role in Klaviyo's product. This role is stemming from growth in this product area. As an Engineering Manager, you will have ownership of the team's mission, goals, and roadmap while collaborating along-side technical product owners and product managers. Together, you'll define scope and specifications while refining RFCs to ensure deliverables are met and stability and quality is maintained. You've managed teams of 6+ engineers, including remote and local team members, and you actively contribute by picking up tickets and writing production code when needed. You have experience leading complex, multi-quarter projects that involve cross-functional collaboration and drive product impact. You've worked closely with product and executive stakeholders, contributing to roadmap planning and prioritization. You have experience mentoring engineers, giving performance reviews, and helping team members grow through clear feedback and support. You understand what it takes to build for scale-leveraging queues, caches, CDNs, and background workers-and have experience making thoughtful technical tradeoffs. As a Sr. Production and Engineering Technician at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the Production organization. This is a small but growing team of highly motivated people passionate about delivering quality products and services on time, with unquestionable value. You'll play a critical role in the build, operation, integration, test, diagnostics, inspection, and maintenance of highly reliable systems, including electro-mechanical assemblies, wiring harnesses, components, and subassemblies. You'll also help with the installation of those systems onto aircraft. Your work will support various product development phases such as prototype, research and development, aircraft certification, and recurring production. This is a fantastic opportunity to serve as the last line of defense for ensuring that our safety-critical systems are reliable and produced to the intended engineering requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Build, operate, integrate, test, diagnose, inspect, and maintain highly reliable systems, including avionics and electromechanical assemblies, wire harnesses, and circuit card assemblies
  • Read, interpret, and work from drawings, controlled documentation, and processes such as drawings, layouts, assembly procedures/work instructions, schematics, engineering drawings, and master parts lists
  • Develop and improve manufacturing and installation instructions
  • Assure product and process quality by testing finished-product and process capabilities
  • Resolve product non-conformances and collaborate with the quality team to implement corrective actions
  • Record work performed in a clear, precise, and complete manner
  • Assist with the development of production and improvement processes

Basic Success Criteria

  • 7+ years of professional experience building and testing electromechanical assemblies, fabrication, integration, or mechanical assembly experience
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience reviewing technical designs and working from drawings, schematics, layouts, assembly/procedures, master parts lists, and other controlled documentation
  • Ability to proficiently use a PC/Mac, Google Suite, manufacturing execution systems, JIRA, or equivalent tools
  • Ability to lift 25-pound boxes to a height of 3-4 feet, with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Success Criteria

  • IPC and/or J-STD certification
  • Experience working in an electro-mechanical manufacturing company, a precision manufacturing company, or a high-volume manufacturing company
  • Electro-mechanical assembly and prototype development experience
  • Experience setting up and running tests and experiments
  • Experience with electrical wiring
  • Soldering experience

The estimated salary range for this position is $110,000 to $145,000/annual salary + cash and stock option awards + benefits. At Reliable Robotics, we strive to provide competitive and rewarding compensation based on experience and expertise, as well as market conditions, location, and pay equity.
