The Opportunity: We are looking for a Director of Engineering to lead our growing Endpoint Security team, with a focus on Kandji’s Security products. In this role, you’ll drive the technical and organizational execution behind one of the most strategically important areas of our business. You’ll guide a team of experienced engineering managers and senior technical leads to deliver performant, reliable, and secure endpoint protection at scale. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll work cross-functionally with product, QA, ML, and data teams, while also mentoring and growing a team of talented security-focused engineers. How You Will Make a Difference Day to Day: Lead a High-Impact Team: Manage a team of engineering managers and senior ICs focused on building and scaling endpoint security products. Drive Technical Execution: Ensure technical excellence, resilience, and scalability across our EDR services in a fast-paced environment. Own Security Product Delivery: Oversee delivery of agent-based security products and features for the platform, including behavioral detection, telemetry, remediation, and prevention mechanisms. Mentor and Develop Talent: Provide mentorship to technical leaders and invest in the growth of emerging managers and engineers. Instill Operational Excellence: Build and reinforce strong engineering processes that drive reliability, efficiency, and maintainability. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product, QA, data, and machine learning stakeholders to define and execute against shared objectives. Inspire a Culture of Ownership: Foster a hands-on, mission-driven team culture rooted in accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. We’d love to hear from you if you have: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience). 7–10 years of progressive engineering leadership experience, including 5+ years managing teams in B2B SaaS. Direct experience building security or IT SaaS products. Proven ability to manage 20+ person organizations, including engineering managers and senior ICs. Strong operational chops, with a track record of driving process maturity and excellence in complex environments. Hands-on approach to leadership and mentorship; comfortable rolling up sleeves to unblock teams Effective communicator with experience influencing executive stakeholders and cross-functional partners. Required to work on-site 5x a week in our Miami office (Coral Gables). Nice to haves, but NOT required: Domain knowledge in endpoint security, EDR, or related security technologies. Background in high-scale systems or agent-based architectures. Experience working in regulated industries or familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, SOC 2, ISO 27001). The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Director of Engineering to lead our growing Endpoint Security team, with a focus on Kandji’s Security products. In this role, you’ll drive the technical and organizational execution behind one of the most strategically important areas of our business. You’ll guide a team of experienced engineering managers and senior technical leads to deliver performant, reliable, and secure endpoint protection at scale. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll work cross-functionally with product, QA, ML, and data teams, while also mentoring and growing a team of talented security-focused engineers.
How You Will Make a Difference Day to Day:
- Lead a High-Impact Team: Manage a team of engineering managers and senior ICs focused on building and scaling endpoint security products.
- Drive Technical Execution: Ensure technical excellence, resilience, and scalability across our EDR services in a fast-paced environment.
- Own Security Product Delivery: Oversee delivery of agent-based security products and features for the platform, including behavioral detection, telemetry, remediation, and prevention mechanisms.
- Mentor and Develop Talent: Provide mentorship to technical leaders and invest in the growth of emerging managers and engineers.
- Instill Operational Excellence: Build and reinforce strong engineering processes that drive reliability, efficiency, and maintainability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product, QA, data, and machine learning stakeholders to define and execute against shared objectives.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7–10 years of progressive engineering leadership experience, including 5+ years managing teams in B2B SaaS.

- Proven ability to manage 20+ person organizations, including engineering managers and senior ICs.
- Strong operational chops, with a track record of driving process maturity and excellence in complex environments.
- Hands-on approach to leadership and mentorship; comfortable rolling up sleeves to unblock teams
- Effective communicator with experience influencing executive stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
- Required to work on-site 5x a week in our Miami office (Coral Gables).
