You will prepare design reports and analyses, perform code searches, create a complete set of contract documents, and provide construction services including site visits and reviewing shop drawings. Your Role Work with the project team to prepare technical drawings (Site Plans, Grading Plans, Utility Plans, Erosion Control Plans, and Stormwater Management Design) for use in permitting and construction. Plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate each of the phases of the project. Provide construction services. Prepare stormwater calculations, assist in completing permits. Assist in reviewing local, county, state, and federal project codes for each project. Work with the Ware Malcomb consultants and the client's consultants to coordinate all of the various consultants to achieve a complete, coordinated set of contract documents and specifications which will be used for permit and construction. As a Project Engineer at Ware Malcomb, you will support the delivery of innovative commercial and residential land development projects from inception to completion. You will prepare design reports and analyses, perform code searches, create a complete set of contract documents, and provide construction services including site visits and reviewing shop drawings. Your Role

  • Work with the project team to prepare technical drawings (Site Plans, Grading Plans, Utility Plans, Erosion Control Plans, and Stormwater Management Design) for use in permitting and construction.
  • Plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate each of the phases of the project.
  • Provide construction services. Prepare stormwater calculations, assist in completing permits.
  • Assist in reviewing local, county, state, and federal project codes for each project.
  • Work with the Ware Malcomb consultants and the client's consultants to coordinate all of the various consultants to achieve a complete, coordinated set of contract documents and specifications which will be used for permit and construction.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience within the Civil Engineering field
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related program is required
  • A PE (Professional Engineering) license preferred
  • Experience working on land / site development projects
  • Strong AutoCAD and Civil3D skills preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal skills including public speaking
