THE JOB

Live Nation's Media & Sponsorship division is seeking a technically strong and execution-oriented Engineering Manager to support the continued growth and evolution of the Setlist.fm platform. This role will own day-to-day engineering delivery and technical coordination, ensuring product initiatives move efficiently from concept to launch while maintaining platform reliability and quality.

The role will serve as the operational point of contact for the external Setlist.fm development team and will lead additional technical contractors and agencies supporting related initiatives, including data pipelines, dashboards, and other web platform enhancements.

The ideal candidate blends hands-on technical fluency with strong organizational and delivery skills and is comfortable working closely with external engineering partners. This position partners closely with product leadership to translate roadmap priorities into structured engineering work, while helping improve processes and keeping multiple technical workstreams aligned and on track.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Own day-to-day engineering execution for the Setlist.fm platform, including feature development, site improvements, and bug resolution.

  • Work with the external development team, managing priorities, clarifying requirements, and ensuring consistent delivery against roadmap goals.

  • Translate product and business requirements into well-defined technical tasks, milestones, and delivery plans in close partnership with product leadership.

  • Oversee and coordinate additional technical partners and contractors across related initiatives such as data infrastructure, reporting dashboards, and web development projects.

  • Ensure disciplined execution across engineering workstreams, maintaining visibility into timelines, risks, dependencies, and quality standards.

  • Support platform stability and performance by proactively identifying technical gaps, process improvements, and areas for increased efficiency.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • 6+ years of experience working on digital product and engineering initiatives for consumer-facing web platforms.

  • Strong working knowledge of modern web technologies, development workflows, and technical project delivery.

  • Experience driving execution using external engineering teams, agencies, or technical contractors.

  • Demonstrated ability to turn product requirements into structured execution plans and manage multiple parallel workstreams.

  • Clear and effective communicator who can bridge product, business stakeholders, and technical teams.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
